It had been a while since I visited a Panera Bread. This visit was a good reason for me to not go back, or just the reason I quit almost 3 years ago. Waited 10 minutes to place an order. No one designated to take orders. Everyone doing their own thing, no team work.
I asked if I could have a smear of mustard on my B.E.C. stale bagel and I do mean STALE! We have mustard packets out there with a point to the drink machine. Total visit time for a togo order was over 20 minutes.
I only went to panera because I was closer to them
than my regular bagel place on the other side of I-74. I will make the extra miles for a better quality bagel sandwich and definitely faster service. Definitely local too.

The food was okay but it would have been better if the lady that took our order had listened to what we wanted. Not only that they forgot my avocado of both sandwiches, served us with no drinks and one sandwiche was supposed to be spicy and another only that one of the soups was cold. All this was given to us by the night shift and on top of that the lady taking our order seemed to rush us in the drive through asking on repeat is that it when we was clearly still talking.

This place was good, but not great. In fact, the AI SUMMARY PREDICTED MY EXPERIENCE.
First, the AI said that “People say this cafe offers a variety of bagels, sandwiches, and soups.” True ✅. They had a bunch of options to choose from. And they even have a “You Pick 2” deal, which gives a discount of all items, which is so SMART of them to do that. The food was even delicious!
But the AI also said “Other reviews mention the service can be slow and the food can be incorrect.” This was also true ✅… It was kind of slow, and they got half of my order WRONG. I picked a soup, a grilled cheese, and a side of chips. I did get my grilled cheese, but they got the soup wrong and gave me a SALAD instead. They did change it after (thank god), but then I realized MY SIDE WAS MISSING. They told me that they are busy working, which I get. At least if my order was right it would be a perfect 5/5.
So overall, it was kind of mid. If they could spend the same amount of time, but ACTUALLY get my order right, it would be a great place instead of good. But the food was delicious at least.

DO NOT USE UBER EATS/ DOOR DASH OR GRUBHUB WHEN ORDERING ONLINE!! Not even 3 Minutes after Placing My Very FIRST ORDER, ever, at your location. My phone rang with a VERIFIED Panera Bread Number. Someone had got into my account in less than 3 minutes and completely wiped it dry. I’m a young widowed, single mom. This is never in my life happened to me before. Uber was of absolutely no use. Thankfully the location where my stolen information tried to be used- all the way in a coffee shop in TEXAS and personally refunded my money. I have had to Cancel every single account and reorder everything!!!
And to top it off, every single item I had ordered from the Penny road location was completely disgusting. ONLY THING we even touched was the tea. So not only did I get caught in a scam/fraudulent BS. But had to toss out the food. It was cold and tasted horribly.
The ONLY correlation so far that My Lawyer, Local and Federal authorities have found was PANERA. THIS LOCATION TO BE EXACT!!!

The worse of the two Paneras in High Point. The tables, bathrooms, and floors are always dirty. Long wait times to order. My biggest complaint is that they ALWAYS mess up their iced tea. I frequently study in Panera and love that you can refill your drinks, but this location specifically REALLY MESSES UP their tea. This is not a Panera bread problem – the tea at other locations across states tastes good and consistent, but THIS location’s tea is AWFUL. Undrinkable

Ordered online. 10 minutes was the pick up time. When I arrived there was a line of 6 people and only 2 people working. Several people dinning in. The messaging said the order was complete. It was not. I waited 20 minutes and had to track down the manager who was ringing up people due to the other worker not being able to handle coupons. Not a good experience.

Yikes…order was running behind even though the store wasn’t busy and my sandwich looks like this…I ordered a Frontega Chicken sandwich. Pretty sure none of their sandwiches are supposed to look this way. This has sliced turkey, cheese, lettuce, and not a trace of sauce. Everything looks like it was quite literally thrown on the bread…looks awful. I also ordered a whole sandwich and this is definitely a half.

Finally went here after co workers regularly get food here. The pastries are cold, dry and stale. Also way more costly for very low quality. The workers were nice and I know it’s not them but the company itself using cheap quality likely frozen food. For the amount spent here you could get a actually freshly made and warm breakfast elsewhere.

A Cinnamon Crunch bagel run at the Panera at 2400 Penny Rd, High Point, NC 27265. My biggest complaint for Panera is the price they want to charge for cream cheese (I never buy at restaurant). This location is my favorite, but they do rush people to move along when they ask or need help. The food quality has gone down, and the prices are still high for the quality. I’m just glad Panera doesn’t have ketchup packets (like McDonald’s). I’m sure they would have overpriced ketchup packets too. I can only imagine what they might charge!!
