I stopped by this Panera while waiting for my vehicle to be serviced at TireChoice. Although I didn’t place an order, I felt compelled to recognize one of their associates, Erica, who truly stood out for her exemplary customer service. She is genuinely customer-centric, and it shows in her actions—from opening the door upon my arrival, to greeting guests with sincere cheer, to proactively clearing finished trays.

Erica is incredible, and her warmth made a lasting impression. I will definitely return to this location, as it’s the kind of establishment I enjoy dining in—one where customers feel valued and genuinely welcomed.

This place has made minor mistakes before, but this time has got me absolutely FUMING. I place my order ahead of time each time via the app. I get to the drive thru this time at 8:12pm. No one is in line. They give me my drink and said my food, a single sandwich will be ready soon. I get an email at 8:16pm saying my order is ready. So Im waiting. Mind you, my toddler is in the back and is waking up. I see people walking back and forth. No one even looks my direction as I try to get their attention. Then minutes go by as I am still being ignored. My daughter is screaming in tears because she is restless. At 8:27pm, I was able to make contact with someone by CALLING ON THE PHONE to let them know im still sitting right there at the drive thru. My food was literally sitting right there next to the drive thru window ready for 15 minutes. The kid offered an extra item (after his manager yelled from the back to apologize and offer me a cookie) but he seemed completely nonchalant and like oh well who cares that we ignored you for 20 minutes with your crying toddler in the back. Honestly it sucks that this is the closest Panera and the effort of some of the staff is so poor.

I have been getting bagels from Panera Bread for sometime now, but I am not sure that will continue. This weekend I went to the Hillcrest Panera and got a bakers dozen of the Asiagos Bagels. We normally get a variety, but the selections have dwindled to about 4 or 5 flavors. So when I got the 13 bagels, I notice these were much smaller than normal. I usually take them home and have to use two 1 gallon bags to store them in, however these were so small, that all 13 fit into one 1 gallon bag. Hardees biscuits are bigger than these bagels. Not only were they small, they tasted very old. I don’t mind paying for good food but this was ridiculous. My wife told me to take them back.. but i just tossed them in the trash. What a waste.

Came last Sunday at 1030am and there were no customers inside other than a couple that was leaving. Drive thru was not that busy. I thought it was crazy that I didn’t get my order past 13 min from pickup. There were plenty of staff in the back, 2 sitting around on their breaks and felt like 1 lady in black uniform scrambling was making all the food. I figure by now the restaurant has a handle of things since being open in mid August. I get in line to ask for my 2 coffee cups after 10 minutes after there was finally a cashier standing there. There were no cups, utensils out in the dining area. The lady in black did apologized it took so long. I think if they going to honor their policy of order not being right, then a free pastry should of been offered for the long wait. I also felt the meat portion of our chicken frontega was lacking. The app also overchcarged us on the BOGO $5. While waiting on our food, I did noticed they kept on passing food out to the drive thru area…thru the main door….and one lady comes out holding a big food spatula I assume for bread oven….I was thinking how unsanitary to bring that out of the kitchen area. Anyway, I think the restaurant is still new and they are still learning to do things…expect a wait. The dining area is small compared to other PB’s. Someone cleaning in the dining area could be better….didn’t see anyone cleaning.

This restaurant deserves ZERO stars. First time going there and I’ll never go back. First off they don’t even greet you. They just stare at you until you order. Secondly the food was awful. I got a turkey cheddar sandwich, which really should’ve been a tomato on stale bread sandwich. It had 1 piece of turkey, 2 pieces of lettuce, and soo much tomatoes and mayo on it, and not to mention the stale bread.

I ordered a steak sandwich in the drive thru I was the o my car after a long wait I notice several cars pull up behind me , the young lady was very polite and asked me to pull up to the stop sign and I did and waited a very long time. When I received my sandwich there was literally no meat on the sandwich. The first 2 times I ate inside and it was perfect. If I eat here again I will go inside

Do NOT go here. Been twice, both times it was terrible. They were so stingy with portions, it felt like a rip off. The first time I chalked it up to be a new store….staff is unfriendly, unhelpful, and straight up rude. One employee, when asked how to redeem points(the kiosks wouldn’t do it), said “just order online lady”. If I could give zero stars I would. If look at all my reviews, I am very reticent to leave bad reviews, but this time, I made an exception.

As a family we were pretty excited that Panera was coming to the hickory area. We need food places around here and Panera has been one we really like. However, since being here we have been very disappointed. Everytime we order, rather it’s a door dash order or we actually come to the drive through something has been left out or we have been short changed. They have forgotten our bread, my son’s entire meal and today the soup came with barely half a cup full. (No nothing spilt in the bag) Ridiculous!!!!! We are so disappointed and they certainly don’t seem to care or want to make things right. Will not be rushing back there that’s for sure. Please bring us a place that’s worth it.

Extremely rude people and unhelpful. Came in and tried to order. No one would come to register. I didn’t even have a rude attitude. Smiled and was being nice. After waiting a long time I waved at the gentleman who stood near the entire time on his phone. He looked at me and then went more in the back and continued his phone tapping. An older gentleman came up and just looked at me. Said nothing and went in the back….. I’ll never come back.

I received my food in a timely manner and service was the bare minimum. However, the bread was very stale and something was off with the chicken salad. I was sick within 15 minutes after finishing my sandwich.
