I ordered a 3 way at 9:30 in the morning, as a carry out for my lunch that afternoon. The service was awesome. It was delicious! The price was great. The portion was huge (could only eat half). Thank you Nick, your beautiful wife, the cooks, and the rest of the staff for the 20+ years of dedication and devotion to your customers. God bless.

This quaint restaurant holds just under 40 people. The servers are kind and check in often for any needs. We had the SPECIAL beef &noodles special and a BLT platter. The coleslaw was crisp and perfectly mixed. The BLT was tall . I had to mash it down for a bite. So good. The beef, in the special, fell apart nicely. The broth and noodles were good. The noodles were not overcooked. We left feeling fat and sassy. We watched many people coming in for takeout.

Hadn’t been in awhile. Pot roast and gravy, grilled veggies were good. But way overpriced. $6.00 for a piece of pie was ridiculous. The crust was inedible. Not like pie dough at all. More like a crumbly biscuit. And we purposely chose this place because I wanted a piece of pie for dessert. This place is now called Bistro something.

Food was good, but they have a policy on not sitting at a table before your party is there…. We were meeting for brunch before the holidays and were told we could be asked to give up our table for someone else if our entire party was not present, but others came in looking for a table. I have NEVER heard of such a policy, and I’m someone who has visited small mom and pop restaurants all over the cincinnati. Our waitress felt bad for telling us this, but at the end the day, this a policy the owners put into place. I will gladly take my business elsewhere with such crazy policies! Don’t implement a policy for all patrons merely because one or two burned you. That is exactly what this “creative” policy sounds like it is being utilized for. You’re just turning off new customers who have never been…. What an experience. OH and the waitress wouldn’t take our order initially because we didn’t have everyone seated/present. But there were two patrons who came in after us and sat at a table for 5 and were immediately served with no push back.
Again, coming from a group of ladies who have either never been or have not been to Nicks in the last decade, we all agreed we would never return. Waffle House sounds more appetizing.

I want to know how 1 BLT, 1 tuna sandwich, 1 order of fries and 2 soft drinks totalled 38$? I questioned the cashier and her response was “It’s probably right”. Been going here for years and won’t be back. Food came out wrong as well. Geez.
