Very happy with my Panera experience today! Recently, I’ve been having subpar experiences at other locations — but the Ashland location brought me back to the Panera I know and love. The presentation of the food, especially the salad, was beautiful. The baguette was also the right flavor and texture (something we have been disappointed in the past with other locations). We also ordered the frontega chicken sandwich which was wonderfully prepared. Thank you to this location for the great quality and presentation! We will visit again.

My company ordered Panera for pickup this morning from the Panera on Brook Rd near Virginia Center Commons, but it was closed until 9 because of snow (which we respect–they take good care of us, too, on a regular basis). When someone from our company went to pick up the order, an employee from this location was at the Brook Rd location waiting with the order!! She’d driven all the way to Glen Allen to make sure we had our food. We really appreciate y’all for going above and beyond to take care of us, even in inclement weather. Stay safe and warm. ❤️

The drop off comes from the service and atmosphere.
I can tell this is an older place and it’s one of the most run down Panera restaurants.
Not that cozy, not that welcoming.
The place is extremely dirty and there are flies everywhere.
The place is quiet but yet a lot of the tables are dirty. There are no pages. The self service devices were sticky dirty. Bathroom had flys. The dining area had a lot of flys.
I would not recommend this location.

Panera consistently provides great service. The staff are very attentive, always friendly, and make sure my food order is ready on time. Every visit is smooth and welcoming, and I truly appreciate the kindness and efficiency of the team. I enjoy coming here and can always count on a positive experience.

I would say one of the best lunches i have had at paneras, sandwich was awesome and the salad. But the service in the door sucked had to ask loudly for someone to show up to the counter to take my order the she wasnt very friendly the sandwich was very well made. As most know paneras a bit over priced for the quanity of food not something i do everyday though

Wow! I ordered a large drink and a half salad which was a small, side bowl size of salad, that was over $14. My bad for not looking more closely at the prices. It was tasty but way too expensive for drive thru food.

Good Panera. Everything is delicious, the portions are as they should be! I especially love when there are boxes for self-order! And the new chicken sandwich was delicious! I was worried when I went to this place, because the reviews were not good enough. But when I visited this Panera I was very pleased!

We ate lunch at this Panera on our way home to Williamsburg from Dulles Airport. The food was good but the inside dining area was dirty. The tables were dirty, the trash overflowing, stacked up plates and bowls, no paper towels in the women’s restroom and it smelled like a wet dog in some sections. Luckily, I had some sanitizing wipes and was able to clean our table. Would I eat here again? Maybe, but I’d use the drive through.
