Food is always ready for pickup. Food is always fresh. Prices are pretty good especially with the daily coupon from the Paneras app. Combine that with discounted gift cards and Sip Club for the win. The healthiest and cheapest meal in Pottstown.

This is a brand new Panera bread location so everything is tidy and sparkling clean. Simply place your order at the counter or use the touch screen monitor that is located not far from the entrance. You can be notified when your food is ready by a beeper or a phone text. There is a variety of sandwiches, soups, breads, bagels, pizza, drinks, cookies and desserts to choose from.
My daughter ordered soup in a bread bowl and I ordered a soup and sandwich, to dine-in. We also ordered a small flat bread pizza to bring home and a bear claw for dessert.
When placing the order on the touch screen monitor, my daughter was impressed that the menu had allergen alert options. You place a check mark on the kind of food allergy you have and the menu will portray the ingredients of the item you are ordering. If you decide you want the item and leave it checked, the staff will be alerted of your food allergy and it will be written on your pick-up receipt.
Once ordered, it didn’t take long to receive a text that our food was ready. My daughter’s food was carefully wrapped separately due to her food allergy which showed us that they take food allergens serious and that’s a plus!
We will be returning in the future because it was a positive experience and the food was delicious!

Had lunch there for the first time today with some family. Jocelyn was extremely helpful at the counter. Our meals were all correct and they even accommodated a gluten free request. Manager brought us our meals and came by to make sure all was okay. Even brought our little one a cookie. Best Panera I have been in for some time.

This place is pretty new but I think reviews like this will help them grow and work on the areas they need help in. I waited around 30 min in drive thru. I was okay with that but was expecting my food to be worth it, if the wait time was that long. I got home and the food you can tell was sitting before handed to me. As it was already cold. Both of my sandwich orders were made very poorly. One side had the protein while the other had no protein. You’re paying a lot to just be biting into bread. The soup had to be warmed up before eating.

The Good: restaurant is very clean and nice inside. The Bad: The food quality is disappointing. Frequently incorrect orders and sandwiches that are very messy. We have gone on multiple instances but usually have an issue. My son received a grilled cheese that was just a cold cheese slice on bread. Another time my wife received the wrong sandwich (see below) which would have disappointed whoever ordered it. It seems like the quality of Panera in general has dipped overtime, though this one still needs work despite being open nearly a year.
Update November 2024: We dined inside this time. Food, service, and quality were SIGNIFICANTLY better. There seems to be a big difference between dine in and take out/drive thru. Glad to see things improving!

Clean- the mens room at an intercity bus station is cleaner
Service – jocyln was not at all helpful at the counter.
Plenty of staff on so my food should have come out fast. It didn’t and I didn’t get a cup of soup for $1 as the app said. I was paying with cash so the app would not help
Overall this location from the sticky floors to the non helpful service never doesn’t disappoint

It looked like somebody ripped part of my bread off and burned the edges also I paid for a 16oz latter and they didn’t even bother to fill it up all the way I wanted what I paid for. It’s annoying when you spent your last for a decent meal and they can’t even get it, right.

The sandwiches at Pottstown tend to have everything piled in one spot on the bread/roll. Since the Focaccia has been changed and is too thick, we ordered the sandwich on bread next time in but it had so much sauce that the sourdough soaked through and fell apart as we ate.

I Went through the drive through. I order a lemon charged drink, margarita pizza, and broccoli cheddar soup. Food was warm. the pizza was not burnt. Thank you. just a heads up if you are getting a pizza your wait will be longer. But worth it.
