Blak Barrel Coffee Co II

I uses Blak Barrel to cater coffee and pastries for an event for 60 people. It was wonderful! They were able to deliver and even brought the coffee add-ins in cute containers. The pastries were delicious and you could tell they were fresh! Totally worth it. Everyone that had the coffee talked about how good it was. Highly recommend!

Blak Barrel is truly a hidden gem! One thing that really impressed me is that the owner makes some of the flavors from scratch! You can tell right away that a lot of heart and care goes into everything they serve. You can taste the difference — the quality and richness of the syrups and flavorings are far above your typical coffee chain. My drink was smooth, well-balanced, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated.
The coffee itself is always smooth and expertly made, the staff is warm and welcoming, and another great perk is that it shares the space with a bakery that serves fresh, homemade goodies!

Staying in town for a few days for my husband’s work and needed my coffee fix. The coffee tastes amazing, I got the Blueberry Muffin Latte with an extra shot of espresso. The place is so cute, if we are ever back in town or driving through I definitely will be stopping in again!

On a trip from Davenport Iowa where we live, to Kansas City for work training, I discovered this little gem talked about two minutes off of the highway. I ordered a large hot vanilla latte with an extra shot of espresso, and got a large iced vanilla latte for my wife. The large iced was 32 ounce- Which is good for me, because I will drink my latte, and get to finish half of my wife’s 🙂 Protein balls from the bakery were amazing. Thank you so much for the friendly service, and I hope we can stop by on our Way back through town!

The coffee is great but the lady with short hair in there is beyond rude to me every time!!! Without failure when I come in she so rude to me and i don’t understand as i am nothing but nice to her! She can’t bother to say one word to me I don’t understand it!!! every time I leave I want to cry due to her unbelievable rudeness I can’t ask a simple question without getting a very rude and hateful response. I see her be kind and wonderful to eveyone but me! She is even kind to my husband! If there was another good place to go get coffee I would go there anytime I saw her there due to her unbelievable cruelness to me,ball the other baristas are wonderful and sweet as can be!!!! This one lady just treats me like I’m the devil

I have nothing to complain on the coffee, normally it is great!!! However one woman in particular always makes my visit miserable! An adult woman with short dark hair is always incredibly rude to me! If I ask a question I get an unbelievably rude answer almost like she is trying not to scream at me. I don’t understand how such a rude person is in customer service

That’s it, I’m done. Despite the quality of coffee (amazing), I can’t subject myself to the bitter, haughty, resentful barista “Summer” any more. I can’t continue to patronize a business that ignores our complaints (scroll through reviews if you haven’t heard the news about this person).
