I usually visit Panera at Ramsey because is in the middle of the route between my work and house. I never disappointed with my choices. Fast and good service. I love the pick-two option that gives me to choose between salad, sandwiches or soups. I love the Harvest salad and pesto chicken sandwich with a dipper.

Ordered in store on self assist kiosk. After long wait with my name displayed on the customer facing screen, several employees and finally the manager said they couldn’t see my name on their side of the display. Manager reentered my order and promised to expedite and give me my order. She did neither. When the order finally arrived it was missing an item which I was told they didn’t have.

Very disappointing visit today. I am not a frequent visitor to Panera, however, today was out shopping at Tice’s Corner with a friend so we decided to go in for lunch. Ordered a half sandwich/salad combination. Was with a friend and ordered right after her. While her meal was ready quickly (she ordered the same), mine was not coming out. After 15 minutes I went up to the food prep counter. They claimed my Light up disc thing’s battery was dead and had been calling my name for awhile. Both my friend and I sitting close to this area in a semi-filled room, never heard my name and they made no effort to walk the room to find me. Then when I received my meal, my salad volume was less than her and when I opened the sandwich I had a chicken piece the size of my thumb and half that for another small morsel thrown in. We each also ordered the apple with the meal in place of chips or bread. I didn’t eat my apple so I just placed it in a small shopping bag. When I got home, I noticed a web attached to the stem of some type of bug? So I am questioning how they store their food and if they are even bothering to wash the food items. I will not order food from their again. I regret not noticing the condition of my apple when I was there and not getting up and complaining about the contents (lack of) in the sandwich I was given. Skimpiest portions for any panera location I have ever been to. Literally two pieces of sliced turkey and a piece of bacon. Come on.

Food quality is 5/5. Kids Mac n cheese is 7.69$ and regular size is 10$ but the quantity is close to kids size Mac n cheese. Otherwise all our food was served at right temperature and delicious.

Spent $33 for dinner for me and my kids and ate in the restaurant. My kid dropped the bread on the floor that came with her chili. When I went to the line and asked for replacement, they told me I had to buy the piece of bread at the register. I thought he was joking. Asked the man at the register if I really had to pay and couldn’t they just replace as a courtesy and he just shrugged his shoulders and charged me $1.27 for a piece of bread. Poor service

This is the nicest Panera in NJ. More modern atmosphere and looks like it was renovated recently…there’s a lot of corporate offices across the street so alot of employees stopping in…too bad I couldn’t stay for lunch..
