I see a lot of negative reviews here, but honestly my experience has been the opposite. Every time I visit this particular location, everything is up to standard. The wait time is completely reasonable, the food tastes good and the presentation is much better than at many other Panera Bread locations I’ve been to. Just look at the pictures of the Pick Two I ordered, it looks great! Thank you!

staff is nice, I got a frozen hot chocolate and the cheddar twist really good. They keep the area very clean even the bathrooms. Very modern design compare to the Clark. Very nice and quite during the weekend when i need to study.I will try the mac and cheese

I have had better luck with this Oabera compared to the one in clark with getting my order right but now I’m less likely to choose this one. I ordered one cup of mac n cheese for drive thru pick up for my daughter. When I got there, one car was waiting at the window. We waited about 10 minutes for them to be done…and I sat there wondering what did they order. but when we finally pulled up I realized it was because the staff inside was not at all paying attention. I saw 3-4 employees standing about 10 feet from the window, chatting. Occasionally glanced over so they had to have seen my car. Finally after about 5 minutes another employee casually walks over to the window and stands there fussing with stuff for another 3 minutes till she opened it, then without apologizing for the delay asks if i’ve already paid… I pointed out my mobile order sitting there.

Ridiculous… I’m not one to usually complain and Panera was my first job so I have a soft spot for it, but the managers need to instill some sense of dedication and urgency in their employees.

I bought an apple Fiji salad, they are the BEST! Today it wasn’t the best because they barely gave me any dressing. That’s almost the best part of my salad. Very disappointed, is I will have to check my salad before leaving. No one wants a dry salad.

With over 2,000 locations in the US and Canada, Panera Bread is Latin for “bread basket” and my go-to spot for a fast casual meal at Legacy Square in Linden. From the start, the company aimed to bake and provide fresh, enjoyable bread for all customers.

Upon arrival as a first-timer to this location, the interior was bright, open concept, and clean with a nice working fireplace. Instead of using the touch pad, I went to the counter, placed the order with a staff member, and decided on the “You Pick Two,” which allows customers to select two options between a cup of soup, half salad, or half sandwich to create a more diverse meal.

I got tuna fish on a baguette with lettuce and tomato, Caesar salad, and chips for takeout. My sandwich was prepared perfectly; the bread and tuna were fresh. However, the lettuce could have been a bit crispier. The Caesar salad was fresh and a good portion, but skimped on the dressing. It was delicious and hit the spot. The service was good and fast, with the price reasonable. I can recommend this place.

Panera Bread is usually my favorite go-to place, but I had a disappointing experience at this location. We ordered two sandwiches and clearly mentioned the Pick 2 offer, but the cashier charged full price and didn’t give us the bill until we asked. When we pointed it out, he said he “didn’t hear” us. Disappointing service — hope the staff pay more attention to customer requests next time.

Purchased 2 Asiago chicken stack sandwiches a week ago. They were terrible! Very little meat and the sauce taste like stale water. What has happened to Panera bread. The food used to be delicious. I have gone to Linden, Clark and Woodbridge. All 3 have lowered their standards. I complained in a review to the store and received no response. No wonder the food is so bad. They don’t care. Sad state of affairs. I treat myself occasionally and this was NO TREAT. The breakfast sandwiches are not good and they don’t clean the ovens so everything smells and tastes like burnt bread. I shouldn’t have to drive all over Union and Middlesex County to find a decent Panera Bread. Won’t be going again.

I ordered online for drive through pick up. The bag holding the soups was drenched, soup spilled everywhere and on my daughters lap! The lid was obviously faulty and they still chose to serve burning hot soup this way. They were giggling and talking amongst each other on the headset when I approached them about it. The staff is definitely a liability to this business.

The hazelnut coffee had run out so I asked for it to be refilled (i.e. a replacement urn). The coffee must have been still brewing though, so in the meantime, one of the staff brought a pot to my table to refill my cup. That was unexpected and appreciated.

I ordered a bread bowl soup and it was a complete disappointment. The portion was kid-sized, which makes no sense for a soup that costs around $10. On top of that, it arrived cold, and the bread bowl (from a place literally called Panera Bread) was hard frozen in the middle after waiting 25 mins cause she said “it in the oven”.

This was my first and definitely my last time eating Panera ever. I’ve never felt so disrespected by a meal. The only redeeming thing is the coffee at least that’s hard to mess up.
