Stopped in to the Smithfield, RI Panera for lunch after visiting the Wicked Tulips Flower Farm. The staff was very friendly and our order was prepared swiftly. The food was sandwiches we had were delicious and the broccoli cheddar soup was tasty as always! Perfect Sunday lunch on a rainy day after visiting the tulip farm!

Have gone here twice: drive thru and dining in.

Somewhat disappointing. Pastry is always good, but menu is more difficult to discern than ever, and choices are weighted toward the spicy and exotic. In the afternoon some tables are in blinding sunshine. Better shades are needed. Soups are excellent! Friendly service is a plus.

I haven’t had much luck with this location, and today just confirmed that I won’t be spending another dime there. I paid for extra sides of French baguette and also chose it as a side with the three things I ordered, and received zero. Not even a substitution if maybe they were out of bread?? Please teach your employees to pay attention, It’s extremely frustrating. also, I got one fork even though I ordered three items and two need a spoon.

Great food, great coffee- also the Agave lemonade is pretty darn good too. I was in yesterday. Staff were nice, and the place was immaculate. Well done, Panera!

Whoever thought “hey you know what, we need to modernize our design and change up our vibe” should be immediately fired. Literally the only thing that kept me coming back and paying $15 for a bowl of soup and a (HALF) sandwich was the relaxing setting to do work or catch up with a friend.. this place looks like a Starbucks now. Trash. Literally walked out.

This location recently moved to a new shopping center maybe a mile west of the old location. Great move because the old location was very difficult to park in and had to deal with the traffic from Smithfield Crossing shopping center. Love their breads and sandwiches.

What is the point of opening a drive thru if it’s the same time as going inside and waiting??? There is a line out the door for drive through. Please hire more or do something for your drive thru team cause this is not it… worst service I have ever been to. It’s 2:30pm… we should not be waiting over 20minutes for DRIVE THRU FOR 2 THINGS- A SANDWICH AND A SALAD.

Ugh hadn’t been to Panera in a while and it is probably my last time here. At least they changed the multiple lines issue with this new location, but the environment is super cheap and uncomfortable. There is zero privacy now and it’s obviously designed to make you not want to spend much time there (I guess to keep away people like me who liked to study there).

Fast. The dining area is super bright. The full length windows made the glaring sun uncomfortable and was difficult to make eye contact with my friend across the table. Food was yummy. The grilled cheese sandwich wasn’t really toasted and crispy how I like. It was warm and soft, but tasted good.
