We are so glad we stopped in for a Sunday treat. The service was warm and friendly. Very much enjoyed my almond croissant and chocolate walnut cookie. As I dipped into the bag while we were driving down the road I found a few extra treats were added. Thank you for your kindness.

First, the shop is cute. A great little neighborhood spot. And I really hope it was just an off day for the food, because I had high hopes given the reviews I’d read.
Everything was refrigerator cold and stale. We purchased the cowboy bites, the raspberry danish bites, a blueberry danish, a ham and cheese croissant, and a hazelnut chocolate croissant loaf. Everything tasted day old. The lamination on the ham and cheese croissant gummed together, and the cream cheese on the danish was very cold.
I’m a big fan of Breadfarm in Bow, WA, and I know good pastry. This wasn’t it.

For the wheat free but not fully gluten free crowd, these cheerful expert bakers provide treasures like wheat free orange cake & wheat free rye bread – amazingly moist & fabulous for sandwiches. I found both of these late in the day after so much had already sold. Amazing! Thanks y’all for the beautiful savory & sweet wheat free options!!

What a lovely little shop I stumbled upon! It smelled heavenly inside, and the person working was very kind! There is lots of selection of a variety of delicious choices. I finally settled on the cherry party, and was not disappointed! Lots of cherries, great flavour and an oh so flaky crust!

This was a very nice bakery in Port Townsend. We were lucky to catch the farmer’s market that runs on Saturdays and their shop is right being their stand for the market. The chocolate walnut cookie was delicious, highly recommend this place.

I came for the almond croissants since I love them on our Celebrity cruises. On Google Maps, it looked only like a few blocks from the Palace Hotel. It is actually up town in the residential area. If you go up the stairs behind the Haller Statue and Fountain and down towards the Fire Bell Tower, it is a few blocks up the street/hill.

I bought two almond croissants, a chocolate croissant, ham and cheese croissant, and a blueberry scone. The almond croissants were so worth the walk with plenty of almond filling and much bigger than on the cruise ship. I thought all the pastries were very good and delicious. Even eating a few days later (keeping it in the fridge), the scone was not dried out or hard – still good!

I had planned to go to Better Living through Coffee to get a coffee after I had gone to the bakery. Better Living through Coffee also sells the same almond and chocolate croissants and other pastries (smaller selection) from Pane d’Amour bakery. I was smiling and shaking my head, but at least I walked off a few of the calories by going to the bakery myself.

The man working the counter was fast and efficient and thanked everyone for stopping in. Good experience and glad I made the walk.

I got the Stumptown cold brew, chocolate croissant, and an oatmeal raisin cookie. I have yet to try the cookie but this is my new favourite cold brew, and the croissant was the best baked food I have ever eaten.

It’s a small shop with tasty breads and pastries. There is an outside seating on the side of the street. You can also get artisan cheese (these are pricy for the sizes), pizza dough and I think pre-baked pies too.
We tried a few of their pastries and all of them were pretty good. I’d like to specifically mention the orange poppy scone and morning muffin. Both were wonderful and I’ll get more.
As far as drinks, there are some cold bottled juices and drip coffee.

Small bakery, no tables inside. Very courteous staff. Excellent croissant varieties, I didn’t try any breads, but they looked good. I was afraid my wife was going to buy out the store. Remember that if you look at the cost per person.

It’s very difficult to be immunocompromised when society is uncomfortable with masked people. I was surprised and happy to see the employees wearing masks. They were both very friendly. I got a grilled cheese and a few baked goodies.
