Panda House used to be my absolute go to, before the original owners retired and left it to their nephew. Before it moved to their current awful (very hidden and parking leaves a lot to be desired) location, there were negative changes to their recipes. Sauces were thinner and no where near as tasty, portions smaller and overall quality went down immediately. The only dish that stayed the same was the hot & sour soup.

First time dining here. Smallish, unassuming, cozy place. Seriously understaffed. We only saw 2 people working and only one was a front-of-house server, and due to this the wait for food and drinks was almost frustratingly long- so much so that we took turns going out front to smoke as a calming respite. However, once the meal arrived- DAMN was it worth the wait!!! Singapore noodles were delicate mai fun with chicken and veggies, spicy in the best flavorful ways and although an appetizer- the portion could easily be a meal in itself. We shared 2 huge servings of Hot Braised Pork in Szechuan Sauce and Prawns with Szechuan Sauce. These spicy richly flavorful sauces, tender meats and perfectly cooked vegetables were overwhelmingly amazing! The side of plain lo mein noodles were above and beyond tasty. And the little touches- wooden honeycomb honeydippers with the delicious hot tea. Elegant metal chopsticks with supercute playful porcelain panda bear resting stands. Everything was fantastic! The best, most authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine I have personally had since I dined in New York City’s Chinatown pre-pandemic. Outstanding food and just minutes from home- we will be regulars here for certain! Hopefully Panda House will get some more good waitstaff hired soon, but even with a bit of a wait- so so very worth it! The bill was about $25 a person- very reasonable with plenty of leftovers to take home for another round tomorrow. A most excellent meal!!!

I’ve been looking for a good Chinese place in Arlington for so long and I finally found it!!! Food is absolutely amazing, restaurant is so clean, and the owner is really nice and genuinely cares about her customers! 10/10 I recommend this place to all of my friends and I will only come here now.

Ordered the lunch menu by phone, the Mongolian Beef has too much green onions and barley any meat (this may be only with the lunch portion. The dish is okay, although I would select another dish option without all the onions. The Teriyaki Chicken was also okay.
