We received our order from door dash. The bag was sealed and the driver was great! After opening the bag everything went down hill. A container labeled Dr Pepper had beef and vegetables of some sort, the rice was burnt and tasted burnt, the original orange chicken was great the first few piece and then got spicy like they tried to fill the container with spicy and threw in some original on top. The lemonade was the only thing worth having at this point. We tried to reach out to the store to rectify the situation just to learn that the number didn’t work. It was no longer in service. Panda Express is one my favorites and this experience with this Panda Express was rough. And sad.

I had a terrible and deeply disappointing experience at the Panda Express located at 523 Harold Bentley, Fairbanks, AK. I placed an online order for a string bean chicken chow mein bowl and a bigger plate with three items: chow mein, orange chicken, grilled teriyaki chicken, and one other item I forgot. The system allowed me to check out smoothly, even though I missed selecting a third item, and when I arrived, the staff didn’t raise any concerns. At the drive-thru window, the staff appeared confused—they couldn’t find my order, and at one point, I saw an employee take my item away and then bring it back after some time. I still don’t know if my original items were swapped or altered during that moment. When I opened my order, it was completely wrong. Instead of the string bean chicken chow mein bowl, I received an orange chicken bowl. For the bigger plate, I only received chow mein and orange chicken, and it wasn’t even a bigger plate as I paid for—it was a smaller, regular-sized portion! In other words, I received one item: orange chicken. I felt utterly ripped off. To make it even worse, the outside of the containers was labeled with the correct descriptions of my order, but the food inside was completely different. This is incredibly deceptive. Adding insult to injury, I arrived at 9:30 PM, well before their stated closing time of 10 PM, only to find the doors locked! I had to order a drive-thru before 10:30 pm. It’s clear that this location not only fails in customer service but also engages in dishonest practices, whether it’s lying about food items, delivering incorrect orders, or closing earlier than advertised hours. This experience was an unacceptable breach of trust and service quality. The next day, I spoke to the store manager about the situation where they made the wrong food for my order. The manager promptly reordered my food.

It has been months since I moved to Alaska. Since the first time I experienced the service here to the point where Haidee took the front charge, a lot has changed.
I understand working in food industry gets very hectic and chaotic. I used to be a manager for local chinese restaurant back in Los Angeles and I know sometimes shit happens. But Haidee stays humble, focus, sharp, and calm regardless the situation.
The manager also took care of the entire store, juggling between one spot to another in succesion. I have not seen the spicy lady as often now but Haidee and Carla have been taking care everything with sincerity. Customer service is at peak now with Haidee being in charge at the frontline. They should keep it that way.
Food wise, always amazing! Ive had Panda express since forever and never feel tired of it.
There was one instance where they mistakenly put Beef Broccoli instead of Beijing Beef during Drive Thru pick up that I did several weeks ago, but I wouldnt mind it. Something new to try for me.
Overall, i’d bump the score to 8.5 out of 10. Great service and food!

The food is ALWAYS fresh, the staff is always so nice & attentive! We placed a mobile order tonight that wasn’t quite ready yet, the staff communicated with us and rushed to get it ready!! One of the best locations I’ve been to!! Love love love your team!

Went to Panda Express today and was disappointed. The chow mein had barely any noodles and was pretty much all cabbage, the orange chicken had way too much sauce and was hard to eat because the sauce was just way over powering. What the heck panda? I usually love going there but today I was not pleased at all. Do better!!

They are really short staffed and chaotic. They locked the lobby door and forced everyone to go through drive through. There were only 5 cars in front of us but it we’ve waited for over an hour to get to our term. The cashier lady has gotten about what we’ve ordered and made was to write down what we’ve ordered. And every time we tried to talk to her, she shut her window on us. She then prioritized taking more orders and putting more people in the line instead of clearing the backlog! She needs to have proper training and communication.

I’ve found that it is better to order online and then pick it up. They have one frontline employee that is very unpleasant but I haven’t seen her the last few times I’ve been in there. My favorite dish is the sesame chicken with fried rice. My husband likes the black pepper steak and teriyaki chicken with fried rice.

Got a plate with honey sesame chicken and Beijing beef. The chicken was only 5 pieces about 3/4″ x 1″. They used to have bigger and many more chunks of meat, this time the amount barely fit one layer on the bottom of the little pocket in the container. Abysmal

Went there on their Grand Opening Day and the day after. Nicest ppl and managers there. We ordered 5-6 dishes including orange chicken, which was delicious with tender chicken pieces inside, also Kung Pao Chicken, which had the right spicy kick. They were giving away souvenirs and Panda hugs to all kids around. This is hands down one of the best food places in Fairbanks after trying many different cuisines while we were in the city. The line was a bit long on the days due to opening but it moved fairly quick and orderly. Drink cups were provided for those who waited in the line.
