Instead, I had to pick out at least half a dozen broccoli stems, and not normal pieces — I’m talking about the very bottom, thick, raw parts of the broccoli that should have been discarded during prep. The broccoli wasn’t cut properly at all. While I was able to eat a few of the larger florets, a significant portion of what I was served was inedible.
As you’ll see in the pictures I’m posting, these giant chunks were clearly just taking up space on the plate. I had to sort through my food and throw a lot of it away, which is frustrating — especially after paying extra.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had this issue here. It feels like the vegetables are being left overly large to fill volume instead of being properly prepped for quality. Panda Express really needs to do a better job filtering what goes into their food, especially when customers are paying a premium.
Overall, poor value and poor execution. I expect better for the price.
Way to go Panda and way to go to the young ladies they had working that night. Much appreciated from some weary travelers.
The server, possibly the manager, was super nice and I think since she was still filling an order for an in-restaurant diner, perhaps she forgot that she was in the middle helping us?
We live too far to go all the way back for the food.
Portions are getting smaller and smaller. The server still got our order wrong after we told them it was wrong. They thought it was funny after I mentioned how small the portion was. We’ll be going down the street for better food and service where we won’t feel ripped off.
