Reviews
I have visited this Panda location numerous times, and the only constant is that our orders are wrong. Whether it’s missing entire entrees, swapping sides, or giving us cold food, the kitchen staff seems utterly incapable of following instructions. What makes this especially frustrating is that I’ve started calling ahead, specifically mentioning the past issues and asking them to double-check the order—a request that is clearly ignored every single time. This shows a complete lack of care or accountability.
However, the most alarming issue is the behavior of the manager, Fernando. On my last two visits, when attempting to resolve a messed-up order, Fernando’s demeanor was aggressively confrontational. Instead of apologizing or offering a constructive solution, he became defensive, raising his voice and making the entire interaction stressful and unpleasant. A manager should be the calming influence and problem-solver, but Fernando acts as an aggressor, making customers feel invalidated and unwelcome.
Until both the quality control in the kitchen improves dramatically and Fernando receives necessary training on basic customer service and professional conduct, I strongly advise others to avoid this location entirely. This is not the Panda Express experience anyone should tolerate.
I ordered a half-size party tray of plain chow mein and asked the manager if I should wait to order the rest of my family’s food. She said it would be ready in four minutes, so I ordered three plates and checked out. After about five minutes, I saw my tray placed behind the cashier, then watched the manager take it back to the woks without saying anything. I stood at the counter waiting for an update and was ignored.
When I finally asked what happened, the manager said they were still working on it, even though the food was already made. She then gave me attitude and asked if I wanted the “over-sauced” tray instead of simply explaining they were remaking it.
The replacement tray came out burnt and dry. When I pointed it out, the manager dismissed it and offered a refund. I then noticed a Panda Rewards account on my receipt that was not mine. I never used the app or provided a number, and she couldn’t explain how it was applied.
To make matters worse, they couldn’t process a proper credit card refund and gave me cash back, but not the correct amount including tax. I ended up leaving frustrated. This was poor communication, poor food quality, and poor customer service at a location I usually frequent.
Unfortunately, what I’ve noticed is that some customers don’t treat the employees with the same respect. Too often, people come in with a “king baby” attitude, creating unnecessary power struggles and being overly harsh to staff who are just doing their jobs. It’s unfair and makes the environment harder for everyone.
My suggestion: if you’re coming here, try to be prepared with your order and treat the staff with kindness!!! You are grown!!! They go above and beyond, and a little respect from us as customers makes the whole process smoother and more pleasant for everyone.
I placed an order through the app for three meals, expecting it to be ready at the scheduled time. Instead, I had to wait 25 minutes past the pickup time, while walk-in customers were getting their food before me. What’s the point of ordering ahead if it takes longer than ordering in person?
The customer service is terrible—no updates, no apologies, just a long wait. I checked their reviews and now completely understand the low rating. This place hasn’t been open long, but it’s already clear why people are avoiding it.
Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.
When my kids tried to take an extra cookie, the manager pulled the box away from them, as if they were stealing something valuable. Then, to top it off, a staff member told my son he’d have to pay five dollars if he wanted more. Fighting over fortune cookies with children? That’s beyond ridiculous. Not a single apology, not even a “sorry for the inconvenience.”
This location clearly needs training, from customer service basics to managing the simplest of situations with courtesy and professionalism. Just look at the reviews—three stars in such a short time since opening. It’s obvious something is wrong here.
