Order at the counter. Food is tasty for sure if you get it fresh off the burner. They will split your side so you can get both rice and chowmein. They do give a healthy portion of each. Not as generous on the main dishes. They are all good. Take a quick peak before you order to see what looks good to you. I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and there is always a wait to order.

Food is good, I have come multiple times since it’s the closest panda to my home and customer service has been good every time however this is the slowest panda. They always take so long I am not sure why it takes forever. You just have to place already made items in to a container. It doesn’t matter if you have 1 person ahead it’s as if you have an entire line ahead. I only write this review in hopes that something is done about the wait. I will be back.

I asked for veggies and meat, no noodles or rice. The broccoli was yummy. The orange chicken was also good. The beef was tender and tasty. However, the teriyaki chicken was rubbery and poorly cooked. I brought it home and plan fried it for a few more minutes, but it was still freezer burned or something and not redeemable. Don’t buy the teriyaki chicken.

I used to come to this location often, becuase I felt like the service was always good, and that the food was always fresher than at the other location close to my house, this has changed. The service at this location is actually awful now. My most recent visit, last night, really reflected the poor service. I ordered Beijing Beef, but I was served Teriyaki Chicken, the woman who was working the entrée line was talking on her phone the whole time she was serving my food. I tried to get her attention while she was putting the wrong protein in my plate but she didn’t see me. She got the rest of my order correct, so I just accepted it. After plating the food she gave me a rude look as she motioned towards the spring rolls and rangoons with her tongs, as if to ask if I wanted any while she was still having her personal phone call. I wasn’t even given Teriyaki sauce to go with the Teriyaki Chicken that I did not order. I like Panda, but this isn’t the spot.

Food was okay, orange chicken was overcooked and more breaded compared to other Panda’s. Kung Poa chicken had great flavor but very lite chicken, rice, chow mein and chicken egg roll, average.
I would have given this review 4 stars but the fountain orange Fanta tasted like sewer water and chalky. Was about to toss the drink but decided to keep it just in case I need to present it to the Emergency Room for further analysis.
No offense to Franchise owner, just giving my honest opinion for today’s visit (my first at this Mesa, Az location).
So many Panda’s out therefore food is hit or miss on giving it 1 star or five stars but today it earned 3 stars.

During my visit to Panda Express today for lunch, I ordered three servings of chow mein and fried rice with orange chicken bowls. Unfortunately, the experience was not positive. The staff member who assisted me was not pleasant, and I received only a half scoop of rice, which was disappointing. Additionally, the quality of the chow mein and orange chicken did not meet my expectations. As a frequent customer at this location, I was quite disappointed with both the service and the food quality during this visit. Regrettably, I have decided not to return to this establishment.

I ordered online, when my husband went in to pickup they told him there was no order for the name. Once he showed the order receipt they determined a Doordasher took the order. They looked at the receipt numerous times and the manager made my husband feel like he was trying to trick them and get food we didn’t pay for when they made the mistake to allow a doordasher pick up our food. They remade our order but didn’t make it correctly. I ordered wok fired shrimp and recieved walnut shrimp, if I had a nut allergy that would have been bad. The cream cheese wontons were overcooked and one had even opened up during cooking and had no filling but they still counted it and the order when they should have tossed it. The lo main had very large cabbage chunks in it. The food was cold, even though they had to remake the order. This location has gone down hill, the last few times the food has not been delicious. The quality is not there. I would pick a different location if I were you. There are plenty other ones near by.

The food is always good. No matter what day or time you go, it’s a simple fact. The service you get while getting your food is terrible, especially the manager there needs work on how she talks to people. She is very rude and very condescending. Most of the time , I see her sitting down , not really I’m helping her workers and when she does help she has attitude. Not only towards her workers but towards the people who are ordering. In one case, I saw when she was not there. Her employees where talking and very friendly. As soon as she stepped through the door they all got tense and very quiet. That is not good at all. There is a lot more.I could say but I’m not going to. Just she needs training and a lot of it.
