I went here when it first opened in SA. I was told to try the famous orange chicken. It was good, I don’t know how authentic it was, but it was okay. Not enough for me to go back for quite some time. Had a friend that really wanted to go there so I said okay, let me give it another shot. Now I remember where the gloss came off the peach. The food was okay… it wasn’t horrid, but it just wasn’t that good. My next concern was, it was a little bit cold. Now mind you I waited for the rice because they said it’s almost done and they put it into the steamer and they served it on my plate… and it was, at best, luke warm. There wasn’t anything exceptional on the plate and I tried several items just to be fair. Again if I needed Chinese food, or American Chinese food, and this was my only choice, I guess this would be it. Service was also not exceptional. No one was rude but no one seemed to really care if I was there or not LOL. The atmosphere scored one extra point because it was clean.

This is the best Panda Express in San Antonio. No matter what time you go to the food is always fresh and it’s busy but it’s worth the wait. The staff is great they are friendly helpful and always have a smile when I come in. Download the app to gets points for free entrees and appetizers.

So a I nice visit, lots of fresh hot options. I wish they had more variety in there Power Greens which were the only option for veggie sides. Great idea, but some onion, pepper and carrots would make this amazing and not just green. Chicken entrees were good, seasoned and overall a quick light lunch alternative to fried fast food!

Did a online order, it was ready and fast. Asked for sweet and sour sauce (on the app) they only gave me one for a plate. When I got home and start to eat, it tasted like there was no flavour, no seasoning. The orange chicken had a weird taste, and the rice tasted like a cleaning supplies. Would not come back to this Panda. I rather drive all the way to Walzem to get better Panda. That’s saying something.

You’re not at Panda Express for fine dining. You’re here because we both know that you a craving. It’s probably for that sweet sweet orange chicken that’s making me miss it as I write this review. Maybe it’s for the perfectly cooked (in a fast food way) fire shrimp. Whatever the Asian craving, you’re sure to find it here. The beef broccoli is actually a delicious healthy option as is the chicken teriyaki.

Order a half chow, and fried rice, along with beef and broccoli didn’t get any beef. Might as well just order broccoli. Was speaking to the manager and he stated that this happens half of the time, might as well just not serve beef and broccoli? Or fix the issue. Their ratio for beef and broccoli is 70% broccoli and 30% I got 100%

My family has been customers at this location for five plus years. Unfortunately, during our last trip/meal, my daughter discovered a pen top in her beef and broccoli bowl. And for that reason alone, they are receiving the one-star rating. It is unfortunate because we really loved PE for our fast food Chinese cuisine. It should be noted that after contacting their corporate office, they did issue an apology and speedy refund. Thanks for the memories.
