For the last couple of months at this location of panda express, if you go there too early in the day, it’s almost assured that you’re going to get leftovers from the previous day. Rather than trying to plan to have nothing left over when they get close to the end of their business hours, instead, they go ahead and make big batches of their food and then just put it in the fridge until the next day. Today just before noon, i ordered a broccoli beef bowl with chow mein and it was clearly left over from the previous day but seemed maybe several days old. The broccoli seemed to have some kind of preservatives sprayed on it and tasted like a chemical taste. I guess they do this so that the broccoli would stay green and crisp. The chow mein was soaked in some type of thick oil and it got everywhere. As soon as I got home, I rushed to the kitchen sink to scrub my hands because even the smell was a little too strong and wouldn’t go away. Maybe others have complained, and they seem to feel like being overly syrupy nice while they’re taking your order will make everyone happy. We don’t go to Panda Express because the employees are super super nice with lots of positivity. We go there because the food in past years has been phenomenally good. Not now. This has happened too many times in the past couple of months. They’ve increased their prices while at the same time, decreasing their food quality. Makes no sense.

I felt very rushed during my visit to this location, and it wasn’t simply because the restaurant was busy. The overall pace and tone felt driven more by impatience than efficiency, which made the experience less enjoyable and more stressful than it needed to be.
Another concern is the lack of low-sodium options. For anyone with blood pressure issues or dietary restrictions related to sodium, there are very few—if any—choices available. It makes it difficult to enjoy a meal here while prioritizing health, which is disappointing and limits accessibility for a portion of customers.
Additionally, navigating to the front building was somewhat confusing. The layout feels a bit like a maze, and clearer signage or direction would greatly improve the first impression and overall flow for guests, especially first-time visitors.
I believe this place has potential, but addressing these issues—patience in service, healthier menu options, and clearer navigation—would make the experience far more welcoming and enjoyable.

Every time I order the black pepper steak, there seems to be an issue. This time there was no broccolini. Last time there was no mushrooms. The time before that, I was told it would be a 15 minute wait when I placed my order 10 minutes prior online. AND NO FORTUNE COOKIE. WHAT THE HECK. Get some consistency going. Please.

We ordered two entrees and one side of vegetables. Our entrees had minimal protein and were very small portions. The majority of our meal was the side of vegetables which were fairly flavorless. I’m very disappointed with the food. It has really gone downhill.

Every store is different by taste. I didn’t really enjoy this one. The crab ragoons didn’t have that little bit of sweetness in them & my usual meal wasn’t as flavorful. The service was decent and was willing to fix any issue. I can’t comment on the atmosphere because I used the drive through.

Love the food, but after seeing this most recent price increase I’ll pass. Service has also gone downhill I’ve noticed. I waited at least 10 minutes the last time before anyone noticed me

Got panda express today and this is what my honey walnut shrimp looked like. Ate one before i noticed, tasted gross and had a slimy texture to it. Looks like mold spots to me. Manager told me they changed their sauce recipe recently and it sometimes burns, and that’s what those spots are. That’s obviously a lie. He wanted to give me more food another day, I asked for a refund, which he gave me, that doesn’t cover the hour of driving it took to get the food and come back. I wouldn’t let someone pay me $13 to eat mold… I dont even like mushrooms lol. Sucks, I’ve eaten panda for a very long time, i think that killed it for me. The moldy food and the bad lie. RIP

I haven’t been to a Panda Express since my late wife and I were regulars back in L.A. before moving to Missouri in 2021. I kinda missed it and while in Springfield on business, I looked for a location close to the freeway. As I did when she was alive, I ordered the Family meal size and was in culinary heaven when I got home an hour and a half later. It was just as consistent as the L.A. locations. Once my plans of moving to Springfield happen, I’ll be stopping here again.
