Run of the mill chain. This place is close to my office, and is a good nutrition-friendly option, so I’m here probably 3-4 times a month. They can get on a kick where they are quite skimpy on the portions, which is incredibly frustrating. Usually bowls are heaping. I’ve had to go back twice to show them and complain. One time in particular (see pictures) there were only 6-7 small pieces of orange chicken and a tiny scoop of super greens in my bowl. Thankfully, when I went back inside and showed them and they filled my bowl. Most of the time they’re good. Drive through takes a long time during lunch hour, but that’s to be expected. Note to corporate, if you have an app that required a qr code scan to redeem, you need a way of scanning that doesn’t require the employee to take my phone to do it. Usually it’s not an issue, but I really don’t like handing my phone to a stranger.

Found a hair in my food.
When I called to bring the issue up, they were nice enough to tell me that they would be willing to replace the food, but not issue a refund.
After some insistence that I would not be wanting to eat the food that I literally just found a hair in they finally were willing to compromise.
I was given a partial refund, because some of the food had been eaten.
This is a note to Panda Express itself, in case you’re unaware. Unless your food is crawling with bugs or just has hair all over it, you eat the food and assume nothing is wrong. When the food cannot be eaten in its entirety then it is no longer about the food, and it becomes a service issue. This was handled poorly from top to bottom, and I am so disgusted not only by the hair. But by the service that was provided in this instance.
I encourage anyone in Springfield, Missouri that if you insist on eating at Panda Express at least go to the location on the south side of town. While I can’t confirm that it is better, I can at least tell you it cannot possibly be any worse.
As for me, I will obviously not be going back to this establishment, and I intend on following up with the health department.
And just a little extra information in case anyone actually reads this and has questions. There was a LOT more food that I just couldn’t eat, there was a whole other meal in fact, so while I understand the partial refund. It is insulting. It also couldn’t possibly be my hair, because I am bald…

Dry rice, bland crab Rangoon, bland orange chicken. Mushroom chicken bland. Beef was not the worst. Why anybody would eat here when there are so many other choices literally even across the street I have no idea. It’s not even a bargain price other places are less expensive and you get more food. I wouldn’t come back if they offered to sell this to me for $2. I can cook better Chinese myself and that’s pretty bad.

Absolutely a joke. Gross and the small is like a snack size for a toddler. $7.70 for a palmful of food?! It was $22 with delivery fees for a drink, mini spring rolls the size of my finger and this joke of a serving size with no rice. Would this be the same serving size for an individual order in the restaurant or are they just scamming people who are ordering delivery?! Was so hungry the rest of the day and so mad. But, lesson learned. First and last time I will ever eat from this place. There is small servings and then there’s THIS. I didn’t even know they could make such small containers. And it wasn’t even full of food. If you’re an infant or someone who has had gastric bypass and can only eat small amounts (like 4 bites) then this is perfect for you.

This is a nice restaurant. It’s in a very busy location, and sometimes the entering and exiting the parking lot can feel bit daunting. However, the staff and the restaurant itself seem to be run efficiently, and well. The staff seemed very nice, and helpful. Overall, (so far) they seemed to be running it well enough to give it a solid 4/5.
