TL;DR:
This Panda Express nailed it! Friendly staff, clean space, and food that actually tasted fresh. The service was above and beyond (they even gave me extra walnuts when I asked), and the meal was one of the best I’ve had from Panda in a long time.

Exceptional service! The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect, even giving me extra walnuts with a smile. That small gesture stood out, especially since genuine kindness isn’t always easy to find these days. The team made the experience feel welcoming and personal, which really elevated the whole visit.
Ambiance: 4/5
A typical Panda Express layout, but notably clean, organized, and easy to navigate. The space felt well-maintained and comfortable, exactly what you want when you’re grabbing a quick bite.

Surprisingly fresh and full of flavor. Every item tasted like it had just come out of the kitchen rather than sitting under a warmer. It’s been a while since I’ve had Panda Express this good. The kind of meal that reminds you why you liked it in the first place.

My wife and I love eating at this restaurant chain. Especially at this branch, I think the food is much fresher than anything I’ve ever tasted before. Shrimp is my favorite choice and it tastes delicious no matter what it is for shrimp, as well as with other dishes such as beef. Regarding soda, I think there might be a slight difference between one branch and another, but I don’t know, maybe I’m not paying attention, after all it’s not that important. Regarding other things such as parking, I think it’s normal as long as it’s not difficult to get parking because it’s not parking on the side of the road. The toilets and dining room are clean, thank you for your service. One more thing, regarding the price, I think it is reasonable considering that the portions given are quite large.

Kami, the manager and her staff, were very upbeat and pleasant. The food was deliciously made, and the helpings were generously proportioned. Tami welcomed everyone when they came in and said goodbye when they left. The staff also made sure we were satisfied when we got our food. We left, needing a nap after having a great meal.

I come here sometime when I want something quick to eat. But next time if it looks like it’s been sitting for awhile, I’ll wait on fresh offerings. The noodles were so dry I couldn’t eat them, next time I’ll get the fried rice. The walnut shrimp which is what I usually get. They count them so you get about 6-7 of them and sometimes a few walnut, and you pay an upcharge for them. IJS

Store doesn’t close for over an hour and they are refusing to con multiple items they’re out of. Several people leaving without food like myself. Last time I come to this location! Also it’s a mess!

Zero Stars would be out preferred choice but it’s not an option. To Go order placed and paid for. All orders were poorly cooked or over cooked. Next time we will definitely stop in Orland or Mokena and not ever in Matteson it is now 3rd time, three strikes were out.

This place really needs to get it through to the employees and even through the manager’s head that it is never a delivery driver’s job to fulfill the drinks. We can get fired for doing it.And it’s a liability for us. We can also get sued. And we can get fined. Please stop handing us the cup to do your job. It is the restaurant’s job to fulfill the drinks, not a delivery driver’s job.

I’ve given this location more than one chance, but after my most recent experience, I won’t be returning. I’ve eaten here three times, and each time I felt off afterward , but this last visit pushed it over the edge. I ordered dinner on Tuesday night, and by the next day I was dealing with serious stomach issues: nausea, diarrhea, fatigue, and cramps.
At first, I didn’t make the connection, but now it’s clear , something isn’t right with how the food is being handled or stored. It’s disappointing because I usually enjoy Panda Express, but this location has been consistently questionable. Food safety needs to be taken seriously.
