I’ll start with the good: I don’t know why, but the food here seems to be better than other locations. Maybe I’m biased because it’s my hometown, but I just think it’s better.
Now for the bad: This restaurant is unprepared 9/10 times for mobile orders. When I place an order for pickup, it is very often that, even though I usually arrive after the time it is supposed to be ready, to find out they had not even put it together yet. Sometimes this is because part of the order wasn’t ready due to not being cooked yet, but much of the time it seemed to be because they were busy and didn’t have enough people to keep up with demand. Whatever the case, they didn’t have it ready. And on one specific occasion I had to wait 20 additional minutes in restaurant for my food to be ready, which is just ridiculous. It defeats the purpose of ordering in advance.
For the delivery portion, this is much the same. They use DoorDash for their deliveries, and quite often my dasher has been stuck in the restaurant for a long time because the food was not ready.
Finally, about half of the time, requested packs of sauce were totally absent from the bag for delivery orders. It might seem like a small thing, but for some food, the sauce makes the difference, and when you paid for your meal, it’s at least expected you’d get the sauces requested to go with it.
All in all I recommend this location ONLY if you can go in person, otherwise expect to be disappointed a lot.
This second time, I order early. The app tells me my pickup time is 1:37pm. I get a text at 1:12 that my order is ready. I’m unable to get there until 1:35 and my order is sitting on a shelf, not a heater or anything. Really gross. The pickup time of 1:37 is written on the receipt, why don’t you make the food closer to that time? Then I checked my food at home. They gave me h chicken instead of the shrimp I ordered (which was more expensive).
Considering corporate never got back to me in the past I’ll be disputing my credit card charge and won’t be coming back.
I’ve tried in the past to provide good faith feedback and clearly corporate or the local location doesn’t care. So why anyone would continue to buy from this location is beyond me……
