My family has ordered before many times, and they were pushing me to order for the first time myself, after telling me the food was great, and priced adequately. So I tried some this time.
It started off a little rocky, but in the end was a very pleasant experience.
We live 20 min away, so its not a long way to go, but that is if its worth it. I came up to pickup the order, and drove thru the drive-thru which is very convenient, and headed back to the house. Got back to my home, and they had forgotten my part of the order…haha I giggled cause I was the reason for ordering, and it was my part of the order haha.
So I called and talked to Josh, i believe that was his name, sorry im never good remembering names…, and he was the gentleman that was working drive-thru. He gave me some options, and since I wanted to try the food, I asked if I could just come back and pick up the missing items, and he said no problem, and was very understanding. Its during the beginning of the dinner rush, so I am very impressed with his professionalism.
I got back to the drive thru, and he fixed me right up. I didnt mind all of it, life has its ups and downs…..the Food was great, service was very pleasant.
I have no issues, and I am thankful that they fixed the issue that happened, and that’s all I wanted. I even got an extra egg roll for my wife which was a big bonus, she loved it.
They missed my stuff, but I forgot to even look before I drove home since the bag was closed. So partial blame to me as well I will check next time.

Terrible always a wait they don’t want to make anything fresh if they are out… this is a usual and why I don’t eat here… tonight I had a delivery and had to wait 20 mins in the drive thru to wait for a customers cold order. Crazy the foods ready and there were employees everywhere. Why can’t you be like every other restaurant and help delivery drivers and times we are as important as every other customer. Keep your lobby opened until close or at least have it where we can pickup Togo orders after the lobby closes

Food is okay but quick. If you need a need a quick meal definitely go here.
It’s okay serving not too filling. I’d give 3.5 but there’s no option.

Had a terrible experience with ordering for delivery! Ordered a schedule delivery for 7:45 and heard nothing until 8 PM. Only until after I called the workers (who were very polite and nice) informed me that no one was coming to pick up, forcing me to go and grab it myself, when I paid for delivery.
Overall, this location is very great and the staff is very nice, and I would eat here again (in person), but do not order delivery through the Panda Express app!

We went over here late at night just about 20 mins before shutdown. This was my first time coming to Virginia and my first time eating at any Panda Express Joint. I would say the food is great but they need to add more vegetarian options. The staff, at the end of the day were responsive and served us right considering we were the only customers. The ambience was good and quantity of the food was sufficient for a good dinner. Definitely a place to check out for once.

The food was great! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful! My husband had the orange chicken and it was so amazing. I enjoyed my honey sesame chicken and loved the walnut shrimp. We were able to sit at the tables outside due to the dining room still being closed.

This location has gone down hill over the past few months. Slow service, the selection is poor most of the time, and it seems like the portion sizes have creeped down. The food quality is still decent, but with many of the dishes being out, I can’t always get what I want (surprisingly… they are more likely to have their premium selections…). It’s a shame, because the location is very convenient to the Virginia Tech campus, and typically I can eat here and keep my calories at least mostly under control.

Panda Express as a chain: 4/5 stars. Good food, keeps me coming back.
This particular Panda Express, however, consistently disappoints. From distracted and slow staff to chow mein that’s more onion than noodle, this particular Panda makes me forget how great it can be. If there’s an improvement to their service and the quality of the food, then I’ll gladly change my review.
