Ive been a huge fan of Panchos for 2 decades but I just had one of my first bad experiences with the food. I ordered my usual fajita for pickup on Thursday around 4pm. I was very dissapointed when opening it up and seeing what it looked like. I’m also very picky when it comes to fajitas but looked like a bland medley of meat and vegetables tossed together. Like if you tried making a fajita at home for the first time and stuck it in some Tupperware. There was no love put into it and it looked a bit rushed. It definitely didn’t have that signature Panchos fajita flavor. I cant describe it but it’s like the char and seasoning and grease from the grill gives everything a great taste. And they always avoid making a fajita that looks like it’s been microwaved. But this time it’s leaning more towards that since the vegetables are barely cooked.
I’ve tried a lot of other Mexican restaurant Fajitas and I can’t stand them because they usually are just bland pre cut meat and vegetables tossed together and barely warmed up with barely any char on the food. Panchos is my favorite and I want to keep coming here
Maybe the usual cooks were off today or on break and someone else made it. It’s very possible since I went between Lunch and Dinner rush. Its just disappointing when you pay 30 dollars for one of your favorite dinners for yourself and they don’t meet your expectations.
I just hope they read this and focus on making sure they keep their standards high like they always have. Thanks

I’ve eaten here for years! Love this place. I ordered To-Go service. Got home- it was a mess. So disgusted I got back in the car and brought it back. The man that took my order looked me dead in the face and said I guess we could remake your order.
As a last hope I asked him if they were under new management -he said no. That’s a bummer. The guy that did me dirty. Is the only person to take a complaint.

The ONLY reason I’m giving this place four stars is because of the salsa. It’s tomato paste. I’d love a Spicer option. The food is always amazing and it comes out very quickly, the servers are always kind and the music is always Los latidos!

Overcharging!! Be sure to look at your receipt. I ordered beef tacos that are $2.50 on the menu they charged $4.99 each, when asked they said that was the only option in their system they couldn’t fix it. Then if you pay with a card they automatically add a tip. Ridiculous that a local business is ripping customers off.

I came down from ky to visit my son. We ate here, had good reviews already but ya never know. This place was awesome tho. Front to back. Great service, food, price, and would you look at that portion! Thats 3 meals!

The good…. the food and drinks came out very quickly and tasted amazing! Prices were standard but serving sizes were above average.
The bad…. our server was verrryyy pushy. We met up with friends so our party was 8 people, including children. We sat down and the server asked what we wanted to drink. It was the first time there for most of us so I told the server we needed a minute. He came back about 3 minutes later so we ordered our drinks. A couple minutes later he asked for our food order. We hadn’t even picked up our menus as we were talking and getting the kids situated. So I asked for some time to look. Literally 5 minutes later he came back wanting our order. Again, I asked for some more time. Mind you, this is a Tuesday nigh, so the restaurant was maybe 1/4 full. Our table was majority of the people there. So he comes back again 5 minutes later and we start to order. One person in the group was asking to add something to her plate and he completely ignored her and moved away and onto the next person. Then we told him she was still speaking and he kept saying he couldn’t hear her. He understood English well too so that wasn’t the issue. So we get our food and one of the plates wasn’t exactly right but she ate it anyways. The adults were done eating but I was feeding my 1 year old rice and beans off my plate and the server comes and just starts cleaning the table and takes my plate from in front of my baby. I literally had the spoon in my hand still feeding him. So we get up to leave and pay and the girl at the counter rings up one of the tickets as $82 instead of $28. When my friend noticed, the girl apologized and says, I’ll ring up a new ticket but can you sign the original too? My friend says, absolutely not, as she didn’t feel comfortable signing 2 tickets, one of which was significantly wrong.
All in all, yes the food is good but it isn’t worth the hassle. There are tons of Mexican restaurants so we will not ever be returning to this one.

One of the worst Mexican Restaurants in Columbia. I see why they went out of business in Spring Hill. Not only did they get my order completely wrong. They wanted to argue with me over it on the phone.. Top that the food I received was inedible do to it swimming in grease..Just Horrible. Stir Clear go to another Mexican reastrant this one should be shutdown aswell.

I’ve been there times before and wanted to try my luck again. While the service was very good and he was very attentive. Chips and salsa were a nice treat. But the chicken was no to my tasting. It was very thick and chunks of chicken, were just that. I’m not giving up on them so maybe in 6 months or a year I’ll try again.
