I ordered a torta with a side of fries, and I was really happy with the food. The torta was delicious, and the fries came in a generous portion, which made the meal very satisfying. They also offered a nice variety of salsas, which I appreciated, but unfortunately the flavor wasn’t as good as I expected. One thing I noticed was that a worker in the kitchen was singing—it wasn’t terrible, but it did feel a little distracting during the meal. Overall though, I enjoyed the food and left satisfied.

This is where the locals eat, which is a good sign. I had the chicken taco and my family ordered breakfast burritos. Which were huge. The food was incredibly delicious, fresh, flavorful, filling. Be patient and you will be rewarded with authentic home made awesome food. It makes you realize how mediocre all the store or chain food you’ve had before is. My tortilla was solid enough to hold but melted in my mouth. The burrito was thin and flaky but strong enough to hold in the meat, eggs, crispy fries and sauces. My husband was so full and satisfied he didn’t eat anything else all day. Hearing the cook singing happily made the meal even more joyful. We were just visiting but if we lived here, this would be my go to spot.

I was at Chula Vista Center last week, and when I left there, I walked across the street to Poncho’s Mexican Grill. It was my 1st time going there. I was pleased. Very clean establishment, wide menu selection, outside dining area, awesome salsa bar, good customer service, and their Carne Asada Fries are some of the best I’ve ever tasted! Seasoned to perfection & filling. Check them out.

Ordered food from here May 2024. Cockroaches crawled out of the tacos when I opened them. This is so disgusting. Called the restaurant to get a refund and they confirmed they know they have an infestation. They are still serving food to people. Don’t eat here

Taste is fine. I like it because it’s not salty. The problem was I ordered to go and I was rushing to go home. I found out there is no chili sauce or any kind sauce. This is the first time I ordered food in a mexican restaurant that has no sauce! Do I need to ask first??? Quantity is fine though.

I got menudo on sunday, by far the worst menudo I have tasted It got me sick for 2 days, I did not even finish it it was black… I have worked ik taco shops and that menudo had to be more than a week old, it was my fault for eating something that didn’t look good and it was not cheap.

Ordered carne asada fries and some a surf and turf which was also gross and got some soggy fries that are not seasoned with white cheese. After I worked a long day and trusted them to make them the way they are supposed to be made , I come all the way home to some soggy disgusting fries , I will never return to this place again and wouldn’t recommend wasting your money there , check your food before leaving they will try to be sneaky with poor quality food

My burrito had a big piece of plastic inside, took a bite a bit too hard and almost broke my tooth, despite the situation i decided to call the place and politely ask for a remake, which they did but then as soon as i showed up, they asked for the previous burrito they had made, so they could fulfill replacement like this was amazon or something lol, i threw away the contaminated food like any reasonable person would, the cashier wanted me to go home, pick the burrito out the trash and bring it to her, unbelievable.
