Authentic Mexican food with flavor and delicious results. We like having the carne asada burrito with beans and rice. The breakfast burrito is also one of our favorites. Lots of choices to please all the different tastes.

I ordered the street tacos. The grilled chicken, the asada and a spiced pork one to go. They also had a carnitas one, but i figured 3 was plenty. I also ordered a side of beans and a chips and guacamole. The service was pretty quick at 1pm on a Wednesday. There wasn’t a lot of customers in the dining area, most of their business seemed to come from carry out and drive through. The street tacos were on special for Wednesday and they have different specials that run on each day of the week. The chips were more like an appetizer than a side and they carried the appetizer price tag with them. I was a little annoyed at first, until I tasted them. The chips were flavorful, fresh, more of a medium thin and crispy. But what made them different was that the guacamole was pretty thin and was placed on top of the chips like the gooey cheese on cheap nachos, and they had some shredded cheese sprinkled over all of it. Excellent flavor and I had eaten half of them before I remembered to get a picture. Note that because of the liquidity of the guacamole, if you dont eat them fast, the chips tend to get soggy. The tacos were excellent. They were flavored well, with plenty of stuffing, but not so much that it made a mess trying to eat them. They were double bagged with two tortillas per taco which aids in keeping all of the inner goodness in place and adds the right amount of chew to the tacos. I will return.

Only Mexican food around open 24hrs so I was excited for chips with guacamole and cheese that I haven’t had in years. To my surprise I quickly lost my excitement when I opened the box to see they either ran out of guacamole, they were sleep walking so they forgot about the part that says guacamole and cheese, or they’re cheap and that’s all you get now. Very very disappointed. Would’ve been cheaper going to QT and getting a bag of tortilla chips because that’s basically what I got.

At first I was waiting 15 minutes for a cheesecake.

When they finally gave me my order I walked out the store wit a burrito and chips, when the receipt on the bag clearly said cheesecake.

I came back and got my cheesecake. Took a bite and next i know there’s a dead fly.

Took it back they didn’t even say anything they just threw it away and gave me another one.
I scooped a piece on it on the fork and there an ant crawling on it.

This place is trifling!

**The ONLY reason this is 2stars instead of 1 is because all of the food was technically correct**
Went on Small Business Saturday for lunch. Lady working the speaker/window was very rude, and food was NOT on the level of what others have reviewed (especially for the price).

Service — I waited for someone to come to the speaker for 3 minutes. When she answered she said, “So do you want something?”
I tried ordering, but there was definitely miscommunication and I had to repeat what I was saying many times (I understand it’s hard to understand over a speaker sometimes, but this became just one more thing to add to the experience overall)
At the window she gave me the total (didn’t get one at the speaker). It seemed higher than I was anticipating, so I asked her to repeat the order before I gave her my card. She rolled her eyes, huffed, quickly repeated it, and I still didn’t understand what she was saying. Went ahead and just paid for it so I could check the receipt myself without making her more upset.
Got the food with another attitude look before pulling out to double check everything.

Beef Enchiladas — tasted and looked like they were made yesterday, left in the fridge, then pulled out this morning. Not freezing cold, definitely not hot or fresh, and texture of the meat was old. The enchilada sauce on top did not bring any flavor. Cheese was sparse.

California burritos — Steak was hard, chewy, and charred. No real flavor overall. Didn’t even finish them because the char and flavor were so bad by the end of the burrito.

Queso Burria Tacos — 3 tacos come in an order, and we didn’t even finish one full taco. “Meat” didn’t taste right at all, also chewy and cold. There was literally no queso. I understand not drowning something in queso if that’s not your food style. But if queso is in the name of the dish, it should actually have cheese between the shells.

The only positive is that we ordered no sour cream and that was honored.

My husband, our friend, and myself all said we could rather have had the Taco Bell on Woods Chapel down the street. Very disappointed and upset we spent so much money time waiting for it to be made “fresh”. Adding the unnecessary attitude from the worker just pushed things over the edge for us to review so hopefully the owners can fix some things before this happens again and others review poorly.

We highly rate the leadership at Panchos Mexican Restaurant as approachable, professional, and attentive to customer needs. We also appreciate that the restaurant offers extended hours, making it convenient for those of us who finish work late or travel for extended hours. Between the excellent management and welcoming environment, Panchos is a reliable and enjoyable place to dine.

I have tried a total of 4 of the Pancho’s restaurant’s across Kansas City. This one is the best! Made a special trip just to see if they would exceed my expectations. This place is definitely on my list of ‘go to’ for a late night meal.

I hate to leave bad review! But this food was soo bad on three dishes. For starters no free chips with entree, which I could get over , but I ordered queso dip and still got no chip for it! I had 3 orders of chimichanga and none were good! They were awful! I didn’t eat it and got a stomach ache immediately! 100% convinced they might be using canned chicken. It was super moist/wet and unflavored and mix of dark and light meat. Worst part was the hairs in 3 out of three dishes. Small black hairs. Our food was also cold, We did get delivery and I know this can happen , but we are less than 60 sec down the road so no reason our food should’ve been cold. It was an overall bad experience. I love the concept of drive through Mexican and love this type of
Food! But yall gotta do better

normally the food is great, I always get a texano with no sour cream, last time I got that I had a bone in my burrito. this time, I decided to get the rolled tacos. I asked for three rolled tacos with no lettuce, as on the menu it says it comes with cheese and lettuce. I got guacamole and cheese instead. I couldn’t even eat any of my rolled tacos, now I’m eating cereal, thanks.

ordered for 11:45pm. my friend went, placed his order and attempted to pick up mine under my name. he showed them the confirmation email for this specific location. they repeatedly told him they didn’t have an order by that name. he left without my order.

i went up to Panchos about 30 mins later, went to the window and this is what happened, exactly:
me: hey my friend came to pickup my order but you guys denied him, just trying to get this figured out – person: what’s your name – me:——-
person: “pull to window”

i get to the window, the guy is packing up my order without saying a word to me. he opens the window and hands me a bag. i ask “why did you deny my friend the order earlier?” person: “wasn’t ready yet sorry?” i left.

i ordered: grilled chicken burrito, advertised with onions, peppers, lettuce, and sour cream. – i requested no peppers or lettuce.

what i got: a burrito with chicken sour cream and lettuce.

i want my money back but i’m not driving to BS for it right now. whatever.
