So disappointing. I was so excited to have a place near me that has Puerto Rican food. The place was completely empty. They weren’t busy at all. I ordered alcapurrias, pastelillo de camaron, and a jibarito de bistec. Oh and to try their Mexican side I ordered a torta de carne asada. The alcapurrias were over cooked on the outside and raw inside, I paid for avocado on my torta and there was no avocado and the bread was stale, the jibarito was just salty and over fried, and the pastelillo looked and tasted like it was fried in the morning and fried again now.

I only gave it one star cause it wouldn’t let me leave a review if I didn’t. This place is terrible with quality the lettuce look like someone wiped their a** with it so brown just like their rice which don’t get me started on how awful that is let me just tell you i had better rice from a blind person. They have problems comprehending orders like when you order extra cheese and they make sure not to add but for sure charge you. Next time you want some good PR food please stay away from this place and make the trip to a adequate location within Chicago limits

I ordered around 30 min to closing time which may be the reason why I had a bad experience. I called to order ahead and when I got there I was still waiting for about a good 10 minutes. You would think if you have to wait your going to get food that is piping hot, but no my tacos were super cold.

I ordered a burrito of asada. Not even 5 minutes later they called me that my order was done. I was excited and impressed. When i got back and took that first bite i noticed that the meat was all chewy. Meat isn’t supposed to be that way. I tried to ignore it but after taking more bites i just couldn’t and had to dispose of the entire burrito. Before i did this i checked the meat and it was pretty much skin. You know that part that you’re not supposed to cook and take out?? I used to work in plenty of restaurants cooking so i have experience. Even if i didnt know my stuff anyone could tell the difference.

Although I like their food they have a lot of quality consistency problems. I used to be able to order through grubhub but apparently they stopped that, and the person who answers the phone there does not speak very good english. After struggling through taking my order things got a little hairy when taking my address so I decided not to risk my dinner and just order from somewhere else. It’s a pity as I don’t know anywhere else to pick up lechon.

So today was my first time trying it, i wanted to try it previously but they have a delivery time of 1 hour even though we are like 5 minutes away from them. My coworker had tacos and the messed them up, she called back and they told her she can buy them again for half off like if it was her mistake, not good business. Finally they told her she has a credit there for her 3 tacos. I ordered the Mofongo with camarones ( mofongo with shrimp) it said mofongo stuffed with shimp, i got a ball of mofongo with the shrimp on top. That is not stuffed mofongo. The also had cheese in the mofongo, I am married to a beautiful Puerto Rican and have been eating this stuff for years and have never ever had anybody put mozzarella cheese on my mofongo. The people answering the phone act like they are slow and don’t understand what you are saying. I would not recommend this place to anybody unless you want to be disappointed with their mediocre food. after reading this reviews on google the people writing them must be related to the owners or have never had good Mexican or Puerto Rican Food. With an hour delivery time I don’t think they will last .

Had a pricy family meal ordered two parilladas. It was disgusting. Rice and beans were in the verge of spoiling. You can tell by the smell and sticky yuck and beans were sour.the chicken was plain and pink inside the pork chops were beyond dry. My family really had to improvise with this meal. The idea was not cooking.

This was my first time coming across this place. I ordered through Grubhub. I will NEVER do it again. Why?? 1. I was waiting about 2 hours for my food. I totally understand the fact that restaurants get busy, but the thing that really got me upset is that I called this place about 5 times and NO ONE answered. I called Grubhub and they tried calling but no one answered. I got my money back. ANSWER your phone.

I wouldn’t even give it one star! I recently ordered from here about a week ago it took them almost 2 hours to get to my house then I have to walk a block away and cross a busy street just to get my food everything was cold and not edible and all they returned was $8.50 for tacos they never even gave me that I had ordered. I will never ever recommend this place to anybody the food was cold and disgusting not even my dog wanted to eat the meat from my burrito and that’s not exaggerating. I ordered through GrubHub and when I call the restaurant to see if they would issue me a refund they said they wouldn’t speak to me that I had to call GrubHub and still nothing was really done I hate this place and I will never ever ever order from here again!

The Google maps location is wrong. Panchos is located next to Navy insurance.
Apparently under new management. No more colorful pictures of the meals and the food is not close to as good as it was in taste and value 1 year ago. Latino music is too loud. We were even charged for the salsa and chips.
