Great food, good service, but a little pricey compared to other local Mexican restaurants. We were impressed by multiple staff checking on us. We will return.

The food was good, this is the third time I’ve visited this restaurant. The first time everything was fine, but the second time I placed a takeout order and the waitress who served me didn’t understand anything I was saying, and she gave me the wrong food. I had to go back the next day to get it replaced, and I didn’t even touch her to get my new food. This last time I was there on Tuesday and nobody was at the entrance. I waited more than 5 minutes and nobody was there. Then I walked a little way so they would notice me and I saw a tall, skinny guy and a chubby waitress near the bathroom touching each other like they were a couple. This shouldn’t happen, but it’s my third time visiting this place and I won’t be back. The employees are distracted, touching each other and playing around. They should be pay more attention to the customers.

My boyfriend and I had lunch there and I was so disappointed especially because we saw they won an award…very undeserving in my opinion. Food was bland and unseasoned. The worst soft taco I ever had! The drinks we had were good. I had a watermelon margarita. Gauc was ok. We had chicken taco, quesadillas and burrito. All flavorless. They use some type of shredded boiled chicken. It was just nasty. I will never go back there. We had dinner Saturday night at Taco Los Toros and that place isn’t decorated as nice but much better food!!! Just wanted to give this place a try. I think if you haven’t had much Mexican food to judge it against you would think this food is good but I eat out a lot and travel. This was the worst mexican ever

Overall, my experience was what I’d expect from a Mexican restaurant. Food was standard, but the drinks were a plus. The service was also standard. It was neat to be able to pay directly from the receipt using the camera on my smartphone – made the payment process seamless and less pressure filled. Otherwise, nothing about the experience stood out for me, but I would go back. The atmosphere was better than most Mexican restaurants I have been to in the Roanoke Valley. They have authentic Mexican paraphernalia, with some modern touches, which was a plus. It’s definitely a good spot to come watch a game with friends. Hopefully, they have what it takes to stay open, as this is at least the 3rd restaurant that has attempted to succeed in that location. You can do it!!!

The host today was very rude! I only wanted chips a sweet drink at the bar. Once I told her I was gonna just sit at the bar she caught an attitude. I was aggressively asked if I was going to eat and needed a menu and upon scrolling she stood next to me, sucked her teeth, then took the page I was on and flipped the menu book to the back. “The drinks are on the last page.” I had actually decided to get actual food cause of the smell of this place. I just ended up leaving. You’re already mad at me for being here I cant trust yall with my food!

So tasty! The food was fantastic! I had tacos. One al-pastor and one asada. Both delicious! My wife had the fried chimi, and it was also very good! I must say, their salsa is perfect. I like spicy and my wife doesn’t. We both very much enjoyed their salsa and FRESH tortilla chips. My Dos Equis was served ice cold in a frosty mug. I’ll definitely drive back across town to eat here again!

Had nachos and a soft shell beef taco. The white cheese so thin its like water. Made the beef and chicken nachos chips so soggy. Soft beef taco loaded full of lettuce and a small amount of ground beef. The ground beef didn’t have a good flavor. Almost tasted like potted meat in a can. It was somewhat expensive. Service and servers were great.

I feel like the portion to cost ratio here is better than other restaurants I’ve been to. The food has always been well made and timely whenever we go here.
