I like the place, decoration, location, and prices. I really enjoyed my red menudo. Its always very well cooked. The meat is always tender, never salty. I would just appreciate if more seasoning was added.

Food and service is great. Eating area Just a bit small and gets a little over crowded at times, other than that I strongly recommend.

Panchitas Restaurant is located on the south end of the City of San Luis. The restaurant is quaint, clean and the staff is friendly and attentive.
Known for their amazing breakfast foods the restaurant also offers lunch specials like birria and beef with red sauce.
They close at open at 3 a.m. for the ag crowd and close at 2 p.m. Definitely worth the visit.

Disappointed in the breakfast burrito. For “TEN” bucks, I expected better and not what I remember from years ago since I had one. They were fantastic then, but just not the same now. Potato, ham, beans and cheese was not balanced and a sloppy mess with just bland flavor. Salt, pepper and maybe onion or garlic powder added while cooking would make a wonderful addition. The potatoes were extremely mushy and provided no crispy or firm texture to the burrito and the ham was chewy chunks and obviously that cheap, low quality ham with all that added water. It wasn’t grilled along with the eggs and looked like it was just added at the last moment…awful. The eggs also appeared to be made separately and not mixed in with the ham or potatoes while on the grill. The beans and cheese were good as was the salsa and the tortilla, but overall not something I would eat again. Low quality and poor cooking skills and it showed.
