One of.my top three favorite lunch stops. I love getting the steak burrito with chips and queso. The queso is delicious! I’m also a fan of the flavo-cano hot sauce. I like their rewards program and have gotten countless free burritos because of it.

Really fast at preparing your order. Food options lots. Location good. Taste better. Carnitas tacos made me want two more carnitas tacos. The burritos look gigantic. Like don’t think you’re going to eat that thing while you drive. I can eat a taco one handed. But the burrito? Negative Lefty, yer gonna want to two hand that sunofagun. Like it deserves. I’m going back to get a gigantic burrito (again), and one of everything else. Oh my goodness I almost forgot to mention the queso… don’t get me started.. yumiliciosious.

I have frequented the Ankeny, Altoona and Johnston Pancheros, and the group at the location (Johnston) is far and away the best and most efficient franchise in the metro. Their staff is a well oiled machine. I think the difference i see at this location is the consistency of the personnel. This group has it’s act together and the manager should be commended for assembling this team. Well done by all!! (Not to mention their food is alway fresh and the food line is always clean). Big fan!!
