For this place to have a huge line whenever it’s busy in town, I was highly disappointed. While there was plenty of bacon in the omlettes, they were lacking in flavor and flat. Zero seasoning on the hashbrowns and grits. The pancakes were fine, I just got regular. Others people had looked good, but they were all sprinkled with powdered sugar.

We’re visiting Gatlinburg with family and had to stop by the world-famous Pancake! We all started with a glass of fresh orange juice, which was the perfect way to kick off breakfast.

My wife had bacon and sausage with two country eggs over easy, my cousin enjoyed the bacon and cheese omelette, my uncle ordered the Dutch Diplomat, and my aunt had scrambled eggs with bacon. Everything was delicious and cooked just right. We also shared the wild blueberry pancakes, which were absolutely amazing and a must-try.

Great food, classic atmosphere, and most importantly, wonderful family time. A Gatlinburg staple for a reason!

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on a Friday in February. Wow, the place was packed, which is always a good sign!

I eat very healthy and sometimes struggle to find great options. I was able to build a veggie omelette with no cheese, side of banana, and 2 steps of bacon. My wife got 2 eggs over easy and some sausage. They were not offended when I asked them to hold the pancakes, although they looked delicious!!

Super fast service, very clean open kitchen, we were in and out in 30 mins.

If you are a sweet tooth there are a ton of options available as well!!

With no way to make a reservation I walked to up to the place and the line to get in was absolutely out the door and down the street. I was on a time crunch but they were on top of it. Besides every table being full the staff were calm and getting people in and out as efficiently as possible without rushing anyone. Once seated we were given our drinks very quickly. The food was absolutely amazing. I have never enjoyed pancakes that much in a long time. The blueberry compote and blueberry pancakes were sooooo delicious. Our food came out quickly and the server made sure our order was correct. I loved the vibes of the place with big windows and an upstairs!

We ordered everything from omelets to crepes and pancakes. We cleaned every plate as it was all outstanding. I had the ham and cheese omelet. It was probably the best omelet I have ever had. Being I have over 7,000 reviews and 9.8 million views on my reviews on here, I have obviously eaten at many places across the country. This place is now my favorite anytime Im near Gatlinburg. Tip, get here before they open at 7! You can park on the street until 9am, so parking isn’t an issue

We recently enjoyed a delightful meal at your establishment and wanted to express our sincere appreciation. The pancakes were truly exceptional, setting a new standard for us. Our omelets were bursting with wonderful flavors, making each bite a pleasure. Furthermore, the attentiveness and warmth of your staff created a very welcoming atmosphere. We look forward to returning soon.

The atmosphere was amazing, it was a comfortable place to eat, not too crowded and when we went there was no wait (we went on a Tuesday morning). We passed this place a few times other than when we went and there were really long lines. I got pigs in a blanket (highly recommended, it was delicious) and my boyfriend got pecan pancakes (he said it was pecan overload, pecans in the syrup, inside the pancakes and sprinkled on top). Our food was served relatively quickly, server was okay. If there is no wait, I would recommend it but I wouldn’t say it’s a must for your gatlinburg trip.

The atmosphere was wonderful! We just stumbled upon this place while passing through. We were surprised by the huge portions of pancakes, haha. Everything seemed homemade, which made it even better. The pancakes were good, but I personally loved the crepes more. The coffee was also great. While the food was excellent, the friendliness and service varied depending on the staff, which was a bit disappointing. We parked in a nearby paid parking garage.

Founded in 1961, Pancake Pantry is a must-visit classic. We waited about 20 minutes as a party of seven, but service was quick once seated. The place is big, lively, and a bit loud, yet conversation-friendly. The veggieburger was mild and could use a little more flavor, but the Swiss Chocolate Chip Pancake were absolutely delicious, fluffy, flavorful, and easily the best I’ve had. Portions are generous, and sharing a pancake and a sandwich works perfectly for two. The fries were crisp and tasty too. Definitely worth the wait for the pancakes.
