Great food. Incredibly fast order to table. Server was possibly new but so sweet and attentive. Had the French toast and chilaquiles with red sauce chicken and bean sauce. Green juice is great. The water is purified and excellent with a slice of lime in the glass. Need to come back for the pancakes!!!

My mother and I visited San Jose del Cabo for a week and came back twice to el Pancake House. The servers were beyond sweet, with all of us attempting our Spanish and English together, and communicating across languages. We enjoyed the espresso moka and a few different dishes: some pancakes, an omelette, and a few of their more traditional dishes with beans, steak, chicken (my mother loved the tampiqueña).
The fresh veggies and fruits were a standout, and both times we left without being able to finish everything on our plates. Very much worth the price, especially with such kind and welcoming staff. Will make a point to return here again! 🙂

I had two pancakes with scrambled eggs and steak, the meal was good,they provided a picante sauce which was tasty and spicy. Also had the pineapple smoothie, which was refreshing. It’s an open-air restaurant but it’s shaded so it was comfortable at the time we went for breakfast.

Delicious food!! Our family of four all loved this place. The pancakes for our kids were fluffy and so good. Our dishes were even better the Arrachera Albañil ($7) was our favorite. We also tried Tortilla Azteca and that was also great. Fresh juice and milkshakes. The pricing was also good our total came out to $36.

OMG this is incredible. Food is mouth watering and everyone can find something they like here. Staff is super nice and accommodating. Definitely will be back.
Keep in mind that it is outdoor sitting only and there are around 12 tables. You may end up waiting for table if you hit busy time. So worth it though.

Wonderful breakfast with very attentive service from the waitresses. Fresh pot of coffee and always there to refill our drinks. We paid with debit card! Definitely recommend for a maw and paw type local restaurant with fantastic pancakes

Thai was a great spot. Not crowded. Food was delicious and took very little time to prepare. They didn’t have coffee which was a disappointment but didn’t take away from the enjoyment of the food and atmosphere. We will come back.

Returned the next day as we loved this place so much and the experience was the complete opposite of our first visit. I think it largely depends on the staff you get for the day. We were seated, took 15 minutes to get our drink order, another 15 min to get simple orange juice, then for them to take our order. After that, we were forgotten. Had to request the fan to be turned on as after 45 minutes we were still waiting for food. Btw, there were only 2 other tables taken at the time, place was essentially empty. When the order came it was all over the place and wrong in several ways. Someone from our group ordered a can of coke and he didn’t get it until his 3rd time asking. Terrible experience the second time around. Still, the food was delicious. I’d still give them 3.5 stars but today was a massive disappointment.

The food was fantastic and the prices were great considering the quality and quantity you’re getting. 99 pesos ($5) for a massive omelette? Killer deal. 105 (~$5)for pancakes, eggs and bacon? Boo yeah. Quick, attentive service, food took a while to get to us but worth the wait as they were pretty busy. Going back tomorrow!
