Good little local bakery and pizzeria in the area. Best to go in the morning when everything is fresh, not a huge selection but the basic Mexican sweet breads. The pizza is pretty good and deserts. A little pricey compared to most bakeries. They do have fresh bolillos with cream cheese, bolillos with cheese and beans, bolillos with cheese jalapeño and chorizo. This is normally what I come to get and occasionally the concha’s. A little pricey compared to other bakeries. Tres leches cake is good. Need to try other things but I’m a creature of habit. Over all I’d say 4/5 because the options are limited and it’s a little pricey.

The bread was delicious but the two tamales I got one being pork and chicken. The pork was dry and the masa was muhy and the cheese one was the same way. I will buy the bread again but not the tamales.

Randomly felt like having tamales for breakfast and stumbled upon this hidden gem—a pizzeria/Mexican bakery tucked in a run-down plaza off Azusa & Valley.
They also sell $3 tamales (not listed on the wall menu) in two options – spicy pork skin or shredded pork. Trays upon trays of fresh-baked bread and pastries available for self-serve purchase.

Exactly what I was looking for. Was hoping the bolillios with chorizo would have potatoes or eggs in them. But they were still delicious and fresh. Next time we’ll try the tamales.

Hole in the wall but the people are nice and the bread is good. Pizza is nothing special but you come here for the pan dulce. Coffee and a bread to get your day started

They have so much pan dulce to choose from, the food is great and the best part is the atole and abena they have. Great place!

Bakery goods do taste great. Mexican styled pizza is a very welcomed change from the normal kind.

Mexican bakery done right. I’ve been coming here lately every morning bout 6:30 am, and there’s a line already. Everything is right outa the ovens, sweet breads still warm and fresh from the oven , they have pizza they sell by the slice or can order the size you prefer and very cheesey with Pepperoni, Chicken wings that are very delicious.they also make cakes and orders that are well presentations. Warm beverages as well as cold drinks. Flan , rice puddings , pastries, cookies, creme puffs, ect. Opens @ 5am for you early birds heading off to work.

I asked for one of those vintage cakes for my kid for her birthday, and I got this. I literally wouldn’t even center the name for me when I asked. I saw some videos and photos on Yelp of their cakes, and they look nothing like what is available. I should have known better, but I thought it would be cool to try a local spot. 🙁

Don’t get me wrong. Bread is good. But what doesn’t sit with me is that I get charged for a box. And every time it’s a different price. I don’t confront them about it because I don’t want to start an argument and refuse my service. I get a lot of bread because I have a big family. First time I went, the offered the box and wasn’t charged for it. Second time I went, I was charged $1 for the box. And today a lady got a box in front of me so I paid attention to register and she WASNT CHARGED FOR A BOX! And she had less bread than me. So then my turn I asked for a box. She said okay and packed my bread. And then after she charged me $1.50! For the box. I asked if this was the price for the box and she said yes. If I get charged a different amount next time I will probably say something now
