They genuinely need to look at the conditions the pasteries are being sold!
I was eating this given by my father and suddenly while im eating do I find this mess.
I find out shortly after both of them had mold growing on them. The one I was eating was worse.

I love Guatemalan food and this is one of my favorite places. I would say everything is good, fresh and very satisfying portions, just prices are a little high but I hope they do not downgrade the quality of the products. The only complain I have is that I ordered a “rellenito” to go and when I got home I have “huevo revuelto” not rellenito in the bag, so I was very disappointed but anyway I enjoyed everything I bought that they and I do recommend the place. Be there early because they run out of atole de elote quick.

It’s a nice place to drink coffee ☕️ with pan dulce! Or eat a little snack and catch-up with friends… its a 4.5 just because the tamale n Chuchito was lacking on flavor but everything else was good.

First time trying shucos, a tipical Guatemalan sandwich. It was amazing, it has three different meats inside a submarine sandwich bread. Carne Asada, Winnie’s and chorizo. The revolcado is another Guatemalan dish that is prepared extremely well here compared to other places in Los Angeles. The pupusas were looking enticing and different due to them being so thick as you can see, however, the craftsmanship has to be reconfigured by the cook in my opinion, due to the masa cheese/chicharon (pork) ratio not being up to taste.

I have been looking for a restaurant with authentic Guatemalan food near me and I found one. I order a variety of dishes to try them and they are pretty good. The garnachas were good, I recommend to eat them while they are hot otherwise they get a bit soggy. The revolcado was tasty. The tamales are a good size for the price and the chuchitos are delicious. When I tasted the pineapple soda, it took me back to my childhood. The only downside was the bucket holding water from a leak coming from the ceiling. Also you will pass the place if you are not familiar with the area, especially at night since there is no sign by the street.

Bought some “fiambre” and guess what? when I got home it had mold on it, all over. Such a disappointment it wasn’t cheap $15 for a small bowl and to deal with this. I had a situation before when I purchased bread from this place and it was the same thing, it had mold in it. Never going back.
Either way service is horrible. Food not recommended.

Took a while to take our order. Waited 20mins for 2 food items, 2 Shucos of carne asada. When we finally received items, there was barely any meat inside. Tables needed to be cleaned as well. Will not return.

I’m a disabled veteran with a prostate condition that requires me to use the restroom often. I came to dine in and when I asked the cashier if I could use the bathroom, she told me to go ahead and went to the back and a man and his son were coming out of the restroom and when I was going to go in, I was told that I could not use the bathroom and that it could only be used by children and that the health department had cleared for that rule. All the chairs and tables were taken and there were over 12 in line standing up for a total of over 25 customers. For this many customers, a restroom should be available. I am visiting for the weekend and I believe that the rule is unfair and not customer friendly. The name of the person that denied me the use of the bathroom is Marlene in the back of the kitchen.
