This review is bit late but anyways… I was there with my wife for my daughter’s birthday party and we bought different verity of cookies, cakes and sweets but we were disappointed because most of the sweets were not fresh.
Prices were reasonable and the young girl at the register was sweet.

This bakery is delicious! I love their Pan Dolce. I think they have a great set up, where you can walk in and pick which baked goods you would like out of their bakery windows yourself. Their prices are also very fair and reasonable.

The best Mexican bakery in Asheboro! They offer a good variety of breads, pastries and cookies here. Everything I’ve tried was delicious and freshly baked. Some of their breads have fillings such as fruit jam or custard too. Their mocha and fruit tres leches cakes are delicious and reasonably priced ($38 for a whole cake and they sell by the slice as well) additionally they sell gelatinas, flan, and bread pudding. If you’ve never been, it’s self serve so grab a tray and tongs and pick out what you want, then bring it to the front counter and they’ll bag it and ring it up.

The only time I don’t like Enciso is when I can’t get more pan. Delicious canastas and they make Rosca de Reyes a couple of days early. Three thumbs up!

I genuinely liked coming here all the time. Through the years I have been coming here less because they are more expensive than everywhere else and the bread is always hard when I go in here. Not only that but when I come in here the older ladies always give you a stink eye instead of saying hi how are you or just smile if you don’t want to speak. The only time I have felt welcome in this store is when a young girl works and she is genuinely nice ! I get that I look “white” for my skin color but I’m Mexican and there’s no need in the community to just be rude. Not to mention last time I came in 2 weeks ago they were cleaning everything down – thumbs up for that – but the lady that was cleaning everything down with what smelled of bleach had gloves on and literally served my bread in the bags with the same gloves. I didn’t say anything because she barely wanted to ring me up, speak with me, and gave me stink eyes. I told myself I just won’t be coming back. This place has gone down hill – does not hurt to just smile at someone.
