Thanks to all the staff, and particularly to Sami ( apologies for spelling) who was so lovely and welcoming.
And…not forgetting the delicious food!
Plenty of options mix of chicken/lamb and veg curry. The rice and nan were really nice. I really liked the mixed starters. Nice salad too.
The only little to point out was the chips that were dry/overcooked but for £10pp I cannot even complain.
Left with a fully belly and service was with a smile. Thank you.
This place does not serve alcohol but they had a wide range of mocktails
To clarify the situation, I am attaching my bank transaction slip as proof of my visit. Instead of making false allegations, I believe the best response would be to focus on improving the quality of the food.
• The drinks menu advertised mocktails, but when I ordered one, the waiter admitted it was his first time making it. Unfortunately, the drink reflected this and was not enjoyable.
• I ordered a side dish that never arrived, yet it was included on the bill. Similarly, my father ordered a second beer that never came.
• The young girl working that evening appeared to be new and completely overwhelmed. She seemed to be doing her best but had no visible support from management, which was concerning. We genuinely felt sorry for her.
• Our table was near the kitchen, and the noise level from the kitchen staff was quite disruptive. They were talking loudly throughout our meal, which made it difficult to enjoy the atmosphere.
Overall, the experience felt very disorganised and lacked the professional service we had expected. I hope this feedback is helpful and can be used to improve staff support, training, and overall service.
Kind regards
Of the 4 starters we ordered, some were mediocre (satay chicken with no sauce and greasy batter on tempura veg) and the fish cakes inedible as they were firey hot and had the consistency of a stale marshmallow. Service was appalling and we left after 2 hours 20 minutes because our main courses had still not appeared. The waiter told us that they prioritised the take away orders first.
Overall, it was lovely — Sammy and the staff are very friendly and professional.
