Pam’s Diner is a family-owned diner serving a meat and vegetable plate Sunday-Fridays for lunch. This place could be so much more in the small town of Moundville. The owner is hard-working and can never find reliable, consistent staff. This contributes to issues in the kitchen. Orders take a long time and often times are not correct. The meat and vegetable choices are good. The fried chicken is really crunchy and has great flavor. The homemade meatloaf is the best I’ve ever had. It is served every Tuesday. The mac n cheese is homemade and cheesy. I recommend this place as a good choice for supper. I would order from the meat and vegetables offered instead of ordering off the kitchen menu. The prices are a little high. It will cost $26 with tax if you order two meat and veg plates and two large teas.

We came out on Sunday and it was buffet day as is every Sunday. Straight good southern cooking. They had fried chicken and pot roast and a few other things. Also the fried green tomatoes were delicious! There was cake and we took a brownie at the register, yum. Service also wonderful down home.

This is a great place. We always try and find a nice locally owned place to eat when we travel. Was in Tuscaloosa for a couple days for work. Went over to Moundville to check Pam’s Diner out. Great meat and three for lunch and the homemade pies were outstanding. We will be returning soon I hope.

Pleasant workers,,God food, clean Restrooms,, the only reason I gave it a four instead of five star, was because it’s not a Serve Yourself Buffet, it is more like a Piccadilly type cafeteria Buffet. To me is not even a buffet but more like a combo order. Once you choose what you want there is no coming back for more unless you pay additional fees. However of course you can get what you want the first go-round, but they individually will charge you for each extra meet side or dessert. Overall it was very good and the atmosphere was very interesting! I loved the decor of trying to go back to the 50s. It was pretty neat looking.

Nice waitress, good buffet style country food… They got really busy so I had to wait a little bit for a refill on my tea.. place looked extremely busyat one point but they soon seemed to have gotten the upper hand. You can expect good things like fried okra steamed cabbage mashed potatoes tuna casserole beef and gravy rice potato salad salad to go fried chicken and other fixings:-) you’ll really enjoy this restaurant if you have time to stop and Moundville please give these folks a shout.

Shows how ungrateful some people can be !!!! This diner and its owners go above and beyond for there customers and there friends with love and great food.

This is a nice establishment. The food is pretty good, just needs a little more flavor for me. If you’re looking for big portions, then this is not for you, but the price accommodates the portion size.

Awesone food & awesome people!! We called in 70 chicken tender & fries to-go boxes for our football team while traveling through there. When we got there to pick it up, they invited us in to sit down & eat & they made us extra plates & brought out extra food & made sure we were all full. They really went the extra mile for us!!!

Great breakfast, and meat and 3. The dinner specials are nice. The staff is friendly. Their desserts are home made. The peanut butter reese’s pie is the best.
