This isn’t a fancy place but what you do get is good home made food and friendly service at good prices too!
You order pre-prepped trays of dishes at the counter or ask for special order items and bring it to your own table to eat. They have a really good lunch combo menu that includes rice, two sides, and a soda can all for ~$13 and will really fill you up.
I didn’t get to taste it but I bought their packaged puto in clear containers and gave it to my sister-in-law and she said it was VERY good. I’ll have to try it for myself next time I am in the area.
Street parking only.

The best Filipino restaurant in the area, hands down. Their adobo is always spot‑on—rich, savory, and lifted by just the right kick of chili flakes. The lechon kawali comes out perfectly seasoned and shatter‑crispy every single time. And whenever they have calderetang kambing, I don’t even think twice; it’s the best I’ve had anywhere in New Jersey. Their miki‑bihon deserves its own fan club too.
But what truly sets this place apart is the warmth. Ate Sol and Kuya Ray treat every guest like family, and that generosity makes each visit feel like coming home. Every time I eat here, I’m transported straight back to the Philippines.

The Sunday Filipino food buffet ($15.99 plus tax) is a phenomenal value. You get to sample a dozen or so home-cooked classics like lumpia, pancit, sisig and dinuguan with plenty of rice, of course (plain white rice and fried rice). The spread comes with sweet pineapple juice as a beverage but soft drinks are extra. The owners make you feel so welcome with famous, full-on Filipino hospitality.

Amazing and affordable Sunday buffet – you get a nice variety of dishes to sample, I was really happy to see sisig as well as fried pork belly, but everything I tried was delicious. Special shoutout to the mini lumpia Shanghai – making them bite size gives you more opportunity to try more things. Definitely stop by on a Sunday if you want a taste of quality Filipino cuisine

You ever had a restaurant you really want to keep a secret so it doesn’t get crowded? Haha I finally found my restaurant. But honestly the staff here are so kind, I want to support their business by letting others know how great this place is! So my first time here I got a two meat and rice combo that cost me $10. However there was a flyer on the door for ALL YOU CAN EAT for $13.99! Say what! A Filipino AYCE! This is only on Sundays from 9am to 3pm. So the fiance and I went on a Sunday at 11am. I really thought it would be crazy busy but it wasn’t at all. This was a great opportunity to try every meat. I was not disappointed. I was already thinking about my next trip here while eating. There was also dessert options. If you have never had Filipino food, the buffet will be a good opportunity to try different types of Filipino dishes. There are plenty of seating inside. They can easily accommodate a family here, even on Sundays during the buffet

I come here often when I crave authentic Filipino dishes. I ordered the 2 item combo that comes with a drink. For $11.99, you really get your money’s worth. The portions are generous. This restaurant has the most delicious food out of all the Filipino Restaurants in Jersey City. My favorite dishes served here are the Sisig , Lechon Kawali, and BBQ skewers. All of the other dishes are super tasty as well. There is a $15.99 all you can eat buffet Sundays from 11a-3p. Come check them out if you are in Jersey City.
Everything is Super Sarap!!!

We used Pampaguena Restaurant to cater our son’s first birthday party at our home! We had a boodle fight and all the guests raved about the food! Would highly recommend for Ray’s great food and friendliness!
