What a gem in the neighborhood. The bartender was fantastic and informative of the drink and food selection. did you see that chicken sandwich, we ordered the double with fries to split and the crispy Brussel sprouts for the table. We also each had the deciduously driftless cocktail sooo good! I want to bounce back to those sprouts, man they were like veggie crack, topped with a maple vinaigrette and pistachios. And, you can’t go wrong with the good ol beer and a shot. If you’re looking for a good place to eat or a cool chill atmosphere for some drinks, check it out, it will not disappoint.

We had a few drinks and some fried snacks. The food and atmosphere and great. We also took a pie making class with Valeri in the back pie making kitchen. The class was supper fun. She is an excellent teacher and very knowledgeable. We made strawberry rhubarb pie and it turned out excellent. Valeri really ran a great class and made it fun and informative.

There’s something about tucking into the bar at Palomino when it’s cold and wintery…it’s perfect. Last night we had the savory hand pie of the day, a cubano, which was absolutely spectacular. That pastry dough is life changing. Balanced flavors. AMAZING. Dry rub wings were cooked perfectly and the fries, THE FRIES, THE FRIES! So good. Extensive whiskey/bourbon selection too which is fun to see and try new things. Don’t skip this spot! Tuck in and hide from the cold!

First off, the staff here are phenomenal! Super welcoming and outrageously helpful. I asked if they had a flight of whiskey available and they helped make it happen, and they’ve got a great selection of whiskey. Also, the hot fried chicken is delicious!

Oooooooh man what a great place. The food choices were fabulous, and an Amazing original take on many of the entrees. The the food was tasty and hot, except for the salad Which was delicious but not hot , The vinegarette was magnificent! Delicious French fries, I had a triple Burger And fries done to perfection, my wife had the fried pickles and the fried artichoke garden salad. A couple of ice cold Miller’s, and my wife had her water and coffee as usual. Honorable mention for the coffee, some of the best I’ve had out!
The sticker says hate free zone, And, they were correct. I met some really interesting people and had a couple of really enjoyable conversations. This is how strangers should interact, love your neighbor!

Fun space with a great bar and cool decorations. I had fried pickle chips and a local IPA. The service was attentive. Definitely worth a stop for a drink.

There is a reason this crew gets props for their cheese curds. Delicious! The Mexican street corn side was great as well. A great add on to get to share if you’re dining with a friend as it’s a generous portion. Hot chicken sandwich has homemade pickles that I could eat all day!

If you find yourself at Palomino, get one of their sandwiches – they’re all delicious and filling. Whether it’s the pulled pork, fried chicken, PBLT or veggie po-boy – you can’t wrong. Their burgers are very good as well. I’d also highly recommend the pimento mac and cheese as a side. Great selection of tap beers and specialty cocktails.
Service here is also top notch. We were checked on frequently and all of our needs were met. Our server was friendly and attentive.

Food and service are always good! Fried chicken is delicious, definitely one of the main reasons I like to go.
Drinks are also well served and the outside seating offers a more casual dining experience.
