And to think I started not to stop because I thought Google took me to the wrong spot. I drove up in the parking lot and asked the nice lady if this was a restaurant, and she said yes. I am so glad I did not miss out. The atmosphere is great, the food is great, the people are great. I most definitely will return. I was excited to see that you had liver and onions. Some of the best food I’ve ate in a while, everything freshly cooked. It had a little bit of everything and the pricing was good also. Service was amazing, I will be back!!

Very nice staff, good selection of food to choose from, and clean environment. The tables and seating are spaced out well. I tried the whiting, flounder, and shrimp which were decent. My sides were macaroni which was pretty good, cabbage and rice, this was ok, yams and fried okra. My favorite was the peach cobbler which had the perfect amount of spices added. I would try this establishment again. There was a pretty good variety if you have the taste for soul food. Also very affordable and under $20.

Fried chicken , fried pork chops , fried anything is delicious. I’ve noticed the pass couple weeks that the quality in fried foods has gone up drastically. Must be a new worker in the kitchen

I stopped in for lunch. The food was delicious. Davie and Gerald are kind and courteous to everyone. Lucy one of the workers from the back is on point. She consistently makes sure the food bar is stocked and in order. The prices are good, Restaurant and bathrooms are very clean. A very welcoming atmosphere. I encourage everyone to stop in and experience the hospitality. You won’t be disappointed.

Reason I give it a Four rating is because of the slow check out . Dine in patrons have to wait in big line while one lady is weighing , bagging and running register by herself. Need to make a register just for dine in and one for take out .Would speed up the process or at least have someone weighing and bagging for the one ringing up on the register. While waiting in this long line one of the waitresss brought a ticket for a patron to be rang up in front of everyone that’s been in line for 10 minutes that really perturbed me .He should stand in line like everyone else or do that for all dine in patrons .

Well me & my friend’s have been to this reasturant several times and every time the food was terrific,so good I ate too much but don’t regret it at all. Great Food & Great Place to have a great country meal. LOVE This Place!!!

Been a few times n each time wasn’t as good as the first n last time I watched as a mouse run under the food warmers n went inside the warmer when I told the owner he smiled n kinda laughed n told me yeah that they were working on getting rid of the mice n went back to what he was doing now I wasn’t telling him to get anything in return I just wanted to let him know there was a mouse inside the warmer under the food n expected some kind of apology reassurance idk him to ease my mind anything other than a smile n laughing it off it totally turned my stomach n I ended up in the bathroom I will not return to this place not because of seeing the mouse but because the owner made it out not to be a big deal n I’m sorry I disagree mice carry all kinds of dieases n his reaction made me to believe that if the mouse wasn’t important then what else didn’t matter how clean is the kitchen well I am not going to ever put my health on the line by going there again is how I feel after dealing with the owner he needs to take notes from the young man at the register he at least reacted properly and apologized ty young man for caring about the situation n trying to ease my mind ty

We went here for Fathers Day while visiting family in the south. There was a long line for entry but when you get inside you understand why. When I say everything taste good, I mean EVERYTHING. I have never been to a soul food buffet before and I have never been to a buffet where all of the food was good. I had a scoop of everything I like (greens, pulled pork, rice, gravy, baked Mac, yams, butter beans, shrimp, chicken, fish, peach cobbler and banana pudding) this was quality food cooked with love in the south for descent price. If you’re ever in the area make sure to stop by.
