We are a Cuban inspired cocktail bar and restaurant with over 20 unique and signature cocktails. We like to say there is something for everyone with a wide range of cocktails styles available. Shaken, stirred, or blended. We do it all.
Our food menu blends the heritage of both our owner’s Cuban family with our chef’s Mexican. It has created a menu with classic Cuban dishes along with brand new creations that are unique to Palomar.
Trendy hangout with a Cuban vibe offering sharing plates with daiquiris & other tropical cocktails.

Came on a Saturday night and waited about 10 minutes for a table. The cocktails are good. The food is kind of overpriced but it aligns with the area. The crowd favorite was the ceviche. Wings were just okay. The steak was really salty. The table agree. Salmon wasn’t bad. Nice sear. Pork shoulder wasn’t memorable.

This is such a cute, vibey spot! The food was a highlight for us, each option was soooo good! We got the lechón asado and the arroz frito, both were incredibly well seasoned and you could tell a lot of intention has gone into the dishes.
The drinks were stellar too! Would definitely come back to try more from this menu.
Overall a great spot for a date night, girls night out, or just to chill with friends! 100% worth checking out!

I arrived in Portland on Valentine’s Day with no reservations or plans. Palomar’s bartenders ended being the new lives of my life. Along with the food. It was incredible. Do not skip on the tuna tostada. Just order it while reading this review.

We had an awesome dinner here! Very friendly staff, small menu but all really interesting options. The ceviche was tangy but also earthy with great spices. Both of our cocktails were different twists on classics, so good. The steak was absolutely amazing. Delicious slow cooked pork. And then we had to try one of the blended margaritas. All great flavors, loved everything!

Yes, the food is a bit spendy but, the food is very much worth the price tag
Oysters tasted fresh, steak and salmon were cooked perfectly and pineapple salad had the right amount of char to tang ratio!
Drinks weren’t overly strong but had great flavor profiles.
The atmosphere was lively, but even with only four other tables, we did end up waiting over an hour for our food so plan extra time in your day when you visit.
Our server was a bit stand offish but might have just been having a bad day.
Host who sat us ruled!

Absolutely love the new space! This place was recommended to us for awhile and it did not disappoint. The crab fritters were an amazing starter. Perfectly crispy chicken thighs in the Pollo Frito, with a hot sauce that’s out of this world. And you can’t go wrong with dessert. We didn’t order alcohol this time around, but the agua fresca and mocktails were super flavorful. Will definitely be back soon

I want to try everything in their menu!! I could eat 12 of their oysters myself. The Arroz Fritos was the best fried rice ever… I can go on & on about this place. Every plate was explained to us when they brought it out… absolutely loves the experience.

Food was pretty good but was disappointed to not see more authentic Cuban food. Service was fine, nothing to write home about, but not bad, it was a busy night though so I know how that can be. Atmosphere was strange, it was extremely dark and fairly loud, not horrible but again it wasn’t great. All in all, probably will not return due to the cost and overall enjoyment but maybe on a different night when it’s not so busy and during the day so it’s not so dark. Literally had someone at our table pull out the flashlight on their phone because they couldn’t read the menu.
