My party of 3 had dinner on a Saturday evening and it was an okay experience overall. There was ample parking but there wasn’t any structure. You have to just find a spot on the grounds. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. We started with the baked Brie appetizer. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. We all ordered the salmon dish because it sounded the most appealing. I’m not a fan of salmon but the dish was pretty good. Service was also good and I’d definitely be willing to dine here again.

If you’re looking for an authentic Louisiana experience, Palmettos on the Bayou is a must-visit. Traveling from DC, we were blown away by the Sunday Brunch Buffet, honestly the best we’ve had in years! The variety is staggering and the value is unbeatable. Between the live jazz and the stunning bayou views, the atmosphere is pure magic. The highlight? The “Lagniappe” service: friendly staff circulating with the best charbroiled oysters I’ve ever tasted and warm, pillowy beignets. A true 10/10!

The atmosphere here was ok. Our waitress was definitely attentive and made ensured that our night was pleasurable. The food however was not at all good. Very disappointing. The oysters were NOT well done and came back raw twice! The drinks were made with bottom shelf liquor. Overall, the space is beautiful.

10/10 experience at Palmettos. We loved the bacon and Brie oysters. Delicious main courses. Enjoyed the bread pudding with a unique twist! Great service and loved sitting in the outdoor dining area

Enjoyed a great Sunday brunch with my family. Everyone was extremely pleasant and professional. Breakfast brunch was refilled continually and our waiter Samuel was the best! Door hosts were helpful and pleasant considering the heavy Sunday crowd–buffet attendants were equally pleasant and welcoming. I definitely would visit again and I highly recommend. I plan to try the restaurant during dinner hours as the food taste and quality was top notch–reminiscent of quality New Orleans city restaurants.

The servers were great, however the food was not very good. I order the chicken a sausage Gumbo and the rue tasted burnt and the consistency was off. The steak was not very tasty either. I think they need a good chef to build a new menu.

We had an incredible experience at Palmettos on the Bayou! The atmosphere on the water is unbeatable, but the food and service truly stole the show. We started with the fried green tomatoes and crab toast, both of which were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The lobster bisque was rich, creamy, and easily some of the best I’ve ever had. To top it all off, the cocktails were fantastic—expertly crafted and refreshing. A huge shoutout to our server, Natalie, who was so friendly and awesome throughout our meal. She made us feel right at home and her service was top-tier. We will definitely be back!

I didn’t take any pictures of the food. NEXT time I will. The Side Yard was great! The BBQ ribs were so tasty, the potato salad was delish and we did get fire fries appetizer. Yummy! Everyone was so nice and asked us several times how things were. We will be back!
