Delicious cafe with beautiful decor and unique Latin flavors. The drinks are fantastic and the Spanish bites unique. We loved the amount of bakery items available as well.

Truly an awe inspiring family run coffee shop. Incredible ambience. One of the best all around coffee shops I’ve visited in the entire state of NJ. All the coffee including their specialties are delicious. Great food including sandwiches, the empanadas, puposas and every dessert in there is incredible. Best of all the staff and Sabrina are the nicest and most welcoming people you will find. Highly recommend you check out this gem in Downtown Cranford NJ.

I’ve been to Palmas twice since I first found out about this adorable café and it hasn’t disappointed yet. I love the atmosphere, its super chill, family friendly, laptop friendly and just an all around great place to sit, relax and enjoy some good coffee and food. Everything I’ve tried from here is top notch. My current favorite is the collagen crush latte but again everything I’ve tasted has been amazing. Palmas is fast becoming one of my favorite places to go.

Cute cafe, nice addition to downtown Cranford. Great spot to sit with your labtop and chill, plenty of seating & plug outlets nearby. Nice selection for their drink menu, although as a non-coffee drinker I wish there was more variety (the avg coffee drinker will be fine lol). We ordered a chai latte & Panela latte – both very nice and smooth. Many pastry & baked goods options and lite breakfast sandwiches. I recc asking for your pastry to be warmed up – they all look lovely (except for the croissants, sorry!) I wouldn’t consider coming here for brunch (due to lack of brunch menu) but it’s great for sipping on a bevi & having a lite treat. Prices are on the higher end, also I didn’t see the drink prices anywhere??

Sets the standard for what a local cafe should be: fun seasonal drinks, delicious bakery items, friendly staff, and a neighborhood vibe.

I ordered the pumpkin pie matcha (loved this twist on the fall pumpkin drink), along with a Philly cheesesteak empenada.

I also tried the pistachio scone, which has the perfect texture without being too dry. It does have a delicious frosting on top so would recommend it with a less sweet drink so you don’t get a sugar overload.

I also got the Nutella cruffin. It’s like a mini cinnamon roll and the texture is phenomenal. Its layers make it so fun to eat too. 10/10

Pretty decent coffee options and they taste great! Service was very good too. Just that it was really crowded and that was the only bad part. You’ll appreciate it more if you go there when its not overflowing with people.

Today we went to Palma for the first time since we have seen their instagram posts. What a beautiful cafe in a quaint little town. The beef empanadas and the cheesesteak empanadas were delicious. The sauce is amazing. The tiramisu latte was delicious! It was packed but you could still hear your friends.

Hate giving a less than good review, but felt it necessary after our experience. Coffee was decent, but the overall experience was overhyped. Service was subpar, but I’ll give them a pass on that as they had only been open a month. We ordered for “here”, my coffee was in a ceramic cup, my wife’s coffee in a to go cup (and order came out wrong but they corrected it), and our food was boxed for some reason as well. They need to work these kinks out to be near as good as people are touting on social media. We eat a lot of Latin food as a mixed Latin family (wife is born and raised in Colombia) and I will say the food was excellent. However, prices are much higher than the others in the area. If you’re okay paying high prices then you’ll enjoy Palmas. The decorations, atmosphere, and food quality are a plus.

We’ll wait several months before trying it one more time. Hoping they can hammer down the details to make this place what it has potential to be.

I was so excited to try this place! It’s adorable inside and the staff is very sweet, but they only offer pre-sweetened matcha. All of my drinks ended up being overly sweet, so the drinks weren’t very enjoyable.
