I ordered the Fish Nirvana, which was far from what it’s supposed to be. Traditionally, it’s fried fish cooked in banana leaf with coconut milk and spices. rich, aromatic, and layered in flavour. What I received was a basic coconut fish curry served in a clay pot with a tiny piece of banana leaf at the bottom. The leaf wasn’t even heated, so it added no flavour. The dish lacked flavour of essential ingredients like ginger. Calling it “Fish Nirvana” is misleading.
The Kizhi Biryani was no better — dry, lacking masala, and completely missing the aroma and flavour you’d expect from a dish cooked in banana leaf. The waitress claimed it was dum biryani, not fried but it is fried. The banana leaf wrap was cold to the touch, which makes me think the kizhi was not even heated. Also got a hair from the bottom of biryani. I noticed this after finishing almost 90% of the biryani. So there wan no point complaining so we paid and left.
Service-wise, it was chaotic. Staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to keep up. We were seated at a table placed between the kitchen and front door. When I asked to move, I was told they couldn’t clean any of the empty tables because it would take too long. I later noticed other customers had to wait unnecessarily because tables were left dirty for extended periods. This reflects poor management and understaffing. If they are short on staff, the owner should ensure proper training and enough team members are present during busy hours.
Also- may be consider putting a bigger spoon in cm biryani.
Overall, I’m very disappointed and won’t be returning to this location.
The menu, a masterpiece of culinary creativity, offered a tantalizing array of dishes that catered to every palate. Each dish was not only a feast for the taste buds but also a visual masterpiece, showcasing the chef’s impeccable attention to detail.
The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive without being intrusive, making sure every need was met seamlessly. The sommelier’s recommendations perfectly complemented our meal, enhancing the overall experience.
The menu offers a wide array of traditional Kerala dishes, each bursting with rich, bold flavors. Highlights include the fragrant kerala Prawns biriyani, , Mutton curry, Porotta &Beef combo and the ever-popular appam with a flavorful Nirvana and Meen polichadu. The karimeen pollichathu (pearl spot fish grilled in banana leaves) is a must-try for seafood lovers.

Must try!!!
I recently dined at Palm Valley Indian Cuisine, and it left a lasting impression. The food was simply fantastic, with every dish packed with fresh flavors and cooked to perfection. Each bite was an explosion of taste, and the presentation of dishes really stood out.
I went there to celebrate a birthday with my family. We sampled a wide variety of options, starting with the Chicken lollipop and Dynamite Prawns, which were both superb. The Dynamite Prawns, in particular, wad a must-try. Moving on, the garlic naan, porotta and kallappam paired perfectly with the mutton curry, fish ‘pollichathu’ were a treat. The masala in the fish was memorably flavorful. I had a chance to taste their “Fish Nirvana” which was a treat!—rich, creamy, and perfectly sweetened !.
The mixed fried rice and chili chicken were equally delicious, leaving us thoroughly satisfied.
To top it all off, the tower looking colorful ‘falooda’ and ‘Elaneer Pudding’ were the highlights of the meal.
Not only was the food exceptional, but the portion sizes were generous, and the service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. The ambiance of the restaurant was clean and inviting, which gave us a relaxing dining experience.
All in all, Palm Valley Indian Cuisine is a must-visit. The quality of the food, delicious flavors, Top-Notch Service and the pleasant and calming atmosphere are perfect for an outstanding dining experience, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
