The best Thai place in this area tucked away in a little plaza. Great flavor and authentic. The papaya salad is amazing! Prices are reasonable. Friendly owners as I see regulars walking in addressing them by first name. Very clean place as well.

First time having this place and I tried the Thai fried rice with chicken since that’s what I usually get from Thai restaurants. There is a certain taste that sets Thai fried rice apart from other fried rices. It was presented beautifully and it tastes even better. I also had the Thai iced tea which was sweet but not too sweet, just how I like it. I read the other reviews about the paper plates and although mine was not on one, I wouldn’t have minded if it was. A paper plate is more sanitary than any other option in my opinion. My tea came in a to-go cup which I was happy about because that’s how I usually try to order in any restaurant. Overall, this place is amazing and the owner(?) was very nice and had my food out very quickly. Shout out to the chef as well! I will be returning!

This place has potential. My pad Thai was swimming in sauce that was too thick and too sweet. The flavor was ok, but nothing special. The water came in a bottle with a disposable plastic cup. The food came on paper plates with plastic utensils. The inside eating area is too small and tables are too close to one another. My friend and I had to talk very quietly just so the table beside us wouldn’t overhear the conversation. The owner was very friendly and nice to talk with. With all of the other good Thai places in the area, I won’t be back here.

For Friday night we were looking for Thai place to have dinner and decided to have dinner at Palm Thai since it was just around 10 minutes from our place.

Y’all, I used to wait 2 hours in line if I wanted to get good quality Khao Soi anywhere in Florida. There was one tiny place in Miami and that was it. What I didn’t expect was to find a completely underrated spot here in Tampa. It’s even one of the best I’ve had, including Thailand itself.

My favorite Thai food place so far. Best for takeout as the in-dining experience is fairly barebones. But the food is outstanding. The menu is quite extensive, so I did not get a chance to try everything yet. All the traditional dishes I experienced in Palm Thai there were excellent, but I especially liked the signature dishes, which offer a gourmet-level tasting experience.

I eat here once a week, because 2 or more times seems too decadent – the food is consistent, fresh and freshly cooked to order. You won’t find better Thai in Tampa – the egg fried rice is also the best I’ve had! The owner is on site, very personable and obviously interested and dedicated to quality!

They made our food vegan without onion and garlic. Tastes good. Best Thai place I’ve tried in Tampa so far. Will come back.

The food was good. The green curry chicken was too spicy. I need to ask if they offer medium spice. They only service take out for now. The chicken was a little dry but worth trying again. The person who helped us, assuming he is the owner, was super nice.

Kind of a let down, decent flavor and some spice which is hard sometimes with Thai places playing to multiple audiences. The lunch portion was average and the chicken was way overdone not tender at all. The egg roll was dinky and partially burnt, good flavor though. I did takeout since I didn’t care about the salad with the lunch special but for $12 I would expect more with quality or portion.
