Although, it took the server 5 mins to get our drink order and another 5-7 mins to receive the drinks .
We started with the coconut shrimp and the tatertots aka snorkels
Both were delicious, the tater tots are over priced for how many you get. Not a great deal . However they are delectable with the bacon, cheese and the Siracha ranch .
Coconut shrimp , couldn’t tell if from a
Box frozen and fried or made fresh . The taste was impeccable along with the Chili Lime dipping sauce . Would highly recommend.
Entrees include
Ahana burger . Tender beef , juicy and flavorful
Pineapple pork loin . Tender , grilled to
Perfection .
Coconut chicken tender- I personally didn’t like these , but the rest of the table did. Tender , not overcooked, just meh
Rasta Pasta – nice tender pasta , creamy delicious sauce and jerk chicken.
Catch of the day – Caribbean Jerk Tilapia with rice and veggies. This fish was bursting with flavor , tender and flaky without being dry . The mango pineapple salsa made it better . And the grilled vegetables OH MY ! I need that blend of spices for my own house , I ate the vegetables 1st
Overall this place is a nice treat for dinner .
Service could’ve been a lil better .
Family says menu is too small and needs more family friendly options.
We will be back .
No one aaked us if we wanted waters, or anything for that matter.
We sat outside visiting between our group of three for approximately 20 minutes and still had not been brought food menus or waters or anything. We decided at 30 minutes after being seated with no other contact to leave.
The restaurant was not busy, or crowded, the staff that I did see was on the younger side , so maybe they forgot about us ???
The young girl who seated us, asked if this was our first time there which we said yes and that we were excited to try the food.
We might try again, but it wont be anytime soon.
We ended up at Nakatos and had a blast!
