What an awesome spot! Everything is fresh, made to order, and you can tell the chef loves creating delicious food. The breakfast burrito was stuffed full of amazing flavors, the potato’s were out of this world crunchy, and the salsaaa I would put it on everything if they’d bottle it. We can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

First time visit. Very calm atmosphere and kind staff. Nice outdoor area in front.
Reasonable prices for food and drinks, but sadly every food item was over cooked. So in my opinion not worth 60 dollars.
The calamari we ordered was cooked to a dark brown,as we’re my crab cakes.
My boyfriend ordered the blackened salmon and it was dry, but with great seasonings.
As for the veggies and gravy on the mash, more of a sweet flavor. Not bad, just not what I expected.
Decent experience over all, but I do not believe we will be returning.
But it’s worth a try.

I ordered through Uber Eats. I just wanted soup and wanted different options. I called them to tell them what I wanted. The girl that answered was very nice. They did call me back to tell me that they were out of one of the options so I provided a different option. Then the owner Yassir called me back and told me they had the other soup in stock and that he would send that complimentary. I have visited here before and this is the atmosphere and service you can always expect: generous and very kind. The food is always delicious. Thanks for the kindness! I wish you all success.

Fancy food at regular restaurant prices? Wow! So I came here based on the description of the cheese plate appetizer. By the way, that was divine. Honey drizzled over blue cheese and Brie cheese with strawberries and toasted bread slices. I can’t say enough good things about that simple appetizer. I could drive an hour just for that. Then we saw on the menu they had duck, escargot, and many other unique and interesting dishes all for around 20 bucks a person. My wife ordered the duck pasta with a mushroom demi glaze. It was the best duck I’ve ever tried. No gamey taste but it definitely tastes like duck. The mushroom demi glaze was delicious and had a strong mushroom flavor. The bowtie pasta was cooked perfectly and was a good pairing with the sauce. I ordered the Beef bourguignon. The burgundy sauce was amazing, the beef was oh so tender and no bad pieces with grizzle or fat. The green beans and carrots looked beautiful on the plate and were cooked perfectly. Just a slight snap when you bite them, but not undercooked. If you are looking for a fancy dinner that feels casual enough for an everyday lunch or dinner, this is the place to go. Next time I’ll be trying the lemon shrimp pasta or the sea bass. Can’t believe that’s even an option at 20 bucks a meal. This is my new favorite restaurant. I’m assuming I don’t even have to tell you the service was amazing. The staff was great the store was clean and the decor was very comfortable and easy to look at. They even had pillows in the bench seats. Never been to France but if I didn’t look out the window you could have easily convinced me I was teleported to a French bistro in Paris. Nothing bad to say here. This restaurant is sure to make you leave smiling and talking about the food for hours.

** edit on 8/3/2024. The food is still amazing!! Breakfast skillet with steak & eggs, breakfast croissant samdwich & short stack. So good!! Servers were fast & friendly, especially the young lady. **
The food is cooked fresh, the vegetables are fresh. The breadstick wasn’t for me. Great coffee. Service could use some improvement. Overall, a really good dining experience.

Very cute place! Wasn’t too busy and the service was good. We waited for a bit of time to get the food, but we weren’t in a rush so it wasn’t a big deal. The prices were pretty good and the portion sizes were good too. Will be back!

What an excellent discovery! Honestly, we came here because we made a last minute decision to dine out on a Saturday night and all the popular places were booked until 8. We aren’t familiar with the area as it was only a halfway point between us in Indiana and someone coming from Park Ridge. When we pulled up the place seemed pretty empty. For such a busy area that made us nervous initially but then came to realize how nice it was to have a quiet spot to chat with someone I hadn’t seen in a while. I think the place is BYOB but they have some super fun mocktails and coffee drinks. I had both a matcha and a latte at the end to go. My friend got a strawberry daiquiri that looked like the real thing! Food was excellent. We even took a quart of soup to go. Portions are a plenty. You won’t go home hungry! I really hope this place gets more business as these types of restaurants with homemade food and a quaint atmosphere are our favorite. If you’ve never checked it out PLEASE DO!!

Made a reservation for 6pm this Xmas Eve as hours were listed as 9am to 8pm. Reservation was never confirmed via email so I called today…luckily. Well, the restaurant is only open until 4pm on Xmas Eve and the hostess didn’t seem to know what holiday it was. “Thanksgiving…?” Completely flakey business. Lost my patronage for good.

We had breakfast… and what a breakfast it was! Everything was so fresh. I had the Greek Island omelet with added mushrooms. I’ve had a lot of Greek omelets but this one was the best I’d ever had. It came with cut up perfectly potatoes and this very hardy, homemade tasting wheat toast. You can tell the people who work here care very much about what they do.
