It’s probably because it’s the weekend, but it was definitely crowded.
I liked that all the seating areas were spacious.
The female staff member with glasses was so kind and friendly, which made the experience even better.
The food wasn’t too salty, so it was delicious and I finished everything.
I’m 1000% willing to come back again!

We needed cake and cookies for an intimate wedding celebration lunch. We’ve eaten dessert at the palisade bakery and enjoyed it. A friend had their wedding cake here as well and they recommended it.

We needed the cake delivered to a restaurant nearby and did they deliver. Both desserts were not too sweet for the older folks but sweet enough for my wife’s nephew to devour two plates of the cake before he ate his entree.

Would recommend to those looking for a local option for desserts. Enjoy!

I’d always wondered why they were always out of almond croissants whenever I visited, but this weekend I finally understood—they sell out fast! I arrived around 11:30 AM on a Saturday, and there were only two left. After just one bite, I knew why they’re so popular.

The croissant was perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and flaky on the inside, and deliciously sweet. It’s the best almond croissant I’ve had in Palisades Park, hands down! Thanks for offering such an amazing treat. I’ll definitely be back often!

I visited this place on a weekday afternoon. Since it was later in the day, many items were sold out, so I ended up getting a croissant and a lobster tail to-go. It had been a while since I had a lobster tail, so I can’t say how it compares to others, but I enjoyed it!

The croissant, on the other hand, was outstanding—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was definitely among the best I’ve had, even compared to places in the city. I haven’t tried many of their options, but if they expand their croissant selection, I’d probably come by more often. I’ll definitely stop in again when I’m in the mood!

Their pasta has been always good since the last cafe.
They do have lots of varieties of baked goods. They are decent.
I like their food menu better though. There are 7 or 8 tables and they are not too busy.
They still do sell pecan custard pies like the owners pre-pandemic. Their bakery is resting somewhere between a typical American bakery and Korean one.

+ I havent tried all of their food but I recently ate Steak and Mushroom Cream Pasta at 8am as a takeout. Superb.
Their food is always piping hot but I ate it after 40min when I got home, the steak was medium done and pasta was still steaming hot. It tasted amazing.

After doing a bit of research, I found that this bakery uses dairy whipped cream instead of non-dairy whipped topping, which is healthier and has a much better texture. Since my husband and I are quite picky about flavor and mouthfeel, we drove 25 minutes to walk in and buy a mango cake. We absolutely loved it—and now regret only getting a 8-inch one! We’re already looking forward to our next special occasion so we can come back and try more flavors.

Pecan pie!! Its original flavor came back!

I was slightly disappointed when this place opened up last year with its signature pecan pie. Because that pie tastes (not drastically though) different from the famous version I had years ago. It was still good but it did not warrant my 2nd visit.

And I made my second visit on Saturday 5/25/24 and reluctantly tried the pie. Voila! The pecan pie fully came back to its original taste. And not surprisingly, this pie was flying out of the in-house kitchen in large numbers. I ended up engage in a conversation with the owner who invented the pie. He said he tried to let his understudy run the business for many months. It didn’t work out, so he stepped up to the plate. And wow, it had that subtle but huge difference!

It’s a fierce neighborhood for bakery/cafe to compete against. Fortunately, this bakery is thriving again and I highly recommend the pecan pie if you haven’t had it before.

So happy that my boyfriend and I got to try this new bakery today. Such a great find! It’s usually hard for me to like a pastry and I was skeptical at first. However, I was in love at first bite! The staffs are also very friendly. I had a small feedback to help the shop improve its service and she took my comments very seriously!

There were so many options but we ended up with a mini apple turnover, sweet potato mochi pie, chocolate croissant and a loaf of rye bread.

The shop is clean and nicely decorated too. Definitely will come back!

Got some pastries but not good. No taste or flavor. Only thing that was good enough was strawberry slush. Service wasn’t really good either. They were too busy with their own things, talking to themselves and we were just in the middle of it all. They weren’t really looking at us when we were ordering. Only time that they actually paid attention was when we had to pay. Don’t recommend anything from here.

We went here for brunch and had baked goods and desserts

We had house salad, the pasta was Al dente, and the Boston cream donut had a lot of cream inside, it was so good and we couldn’t get enough. We even had Bingsoo, a Korean shaved  ice and it was delicious
