Beautiful and elegant Italian venue! Large enough for events and even presentations. Carlos was a great server:) Wine was very bold and really good. The focaccia bread for appetizers was fresh and tasty:) Mushroom pizza was delicious;)

Palio had a nice ambiance when I was greeted and seated. The customer service here was excellent and all the food I ordered and tried was delicious! Nice little Italian restaurant with excellent food and a nice wine selection as well.

Had dinner here and the people were really nice and the food was fantastic – I can’t give this place five stars because of the prices. Others may think $100 for a pizza diner is fair but just couldn’t. I got an appetizer, pizza, beer and a dessert. The prices just seem too high.

If you want to compete with Italian eateries in San Francisco you better serve great food and you better be authentic. That is EXACTLY what Palio is.

Absolutely delicious dinner. Intimate enough to be able to have a conversation but still felt classy. Food is out of this world and the specials are incredible!

Fun service, good food, and tasty drinks. I really liked the pizza and the fettuccini. The atmosphere is nice and pleasing as well, I could come back and try a few more things on the menu. I also really liked the spumoni and the tiramisu!

Perfect place for our private dinner with 12 guests. We were in the Bakery room which provided an intimate space with TV to show a presentation. The food and drinks were delicious and service was amazing. Special kudos to Martin and the team for taking care of us!

Palio got a new face lift and reopened earlier this year. I think February but I could be wrong. Everything we had was good. I recommend the crab spaghetti and whole fish for sure! The service was prompt and great. The hostess was very sweet.

Staff was super rude and unfriendly, we had someone with poor eyesight so they were unable to see in the dark deep inside seating. We requested to be seated near sunlight but manager refused saying it’s a lounge and not a ‘dining area.’ He was rude to the women in the group. Later one of the women kept the purse on the ground as we sat at the booth; the waiter kicked the bag and rudely said to keep it elsewhere.

I am never easily satisfied with Italian restaurants but I have to say that their dishes are exceptionally tasty. I would recommend trying the aubergine and gnocchi dish. The portion sizes are more than enough. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is due to a he slightly higher price. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as it tasted very authentic
