I’ve always loved Tacumbo. Good ice cream, delicious aguas frescas. The reason I’m giving it 3 stars is that lately the strawberries and cream taste more like strawberries and milk than cream, and now they use half the amount of product they used to. I understand that everything is extremely expensive now, but if you’re paying for something, at least respect the quality and quantity of the product.

Was craving ice cream and found this place. Was not dissapointed at all. Prices are very reasonable for the portions they give you. I read some of the reviews where others recommended to try the corn ice cream. I was skeptical but it turned out really nice. Ended up getting a number of other things as well – guava and tamrind juice and fresh fruits. Im glad i went here.

I grew up in Wilmington and grew up on Tocumbo’s ice cream. We moved states a few years ago but I come here every time we visit, no matter the weather. This is consistently the best ice cream I have ever had. I haven’t found a place yet that matches the flavor and love put into this ice cream. They have so many unique flavors and they’re all good so don’t be afraid to try them! I wish they would open more stores in other states!

A unique ice cream shop. There’s a huge array of flavors you won’t find elsewhere. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. If you’re in the mood for a cool treat and want something different than the same old thing this is the place. Worth a visit!

Best handmade ice cream in the area. It’s a Mexican, family owned establishment. It’s a great place to take the kids to try something new in the ice cream department. They have very unique ice cream treats. And most of the classic stuff too! It’s very affordable also…

Great ice cream… many years ago there was a lot of fruit in their ice cream: no longer bits of tasty fruit . But still enjoyable. Their frozen bars are $2 and still has fruit in it. You are not wasting your money with this treat. There is also another ice cream place at farmers market. Enjoy!
