Went for lunch. Co-Worker and I both got the Nika’s Special Lunch. The meal itself was great! However felt like 45 mins to get our food. Service was ok. Wasn’t impressed with the rolls. But the Nika’s special was great.

Stopped here on a whim on our drive through the country and we are so glad we did. It was some of the best spaghetti I’ve ever had, food was out fast and service was good, and it was reasonably priced. Added to our list of places we stop when traveling, definitely will be back again.

We really enjoyed our meal here. The food is wonderful. The bread is very good, light, yeasty, and chewy. We got the chicken parmesan and chicken primavera with a moscato. The sauces were robust, complex, and delicious. The chicken was moist and flavorful. Every bite was comforting and exciting at the same time (can you tell I’m a pasta fan? I was almost a third of the way through my meal before I remembered to take pictures!)

There was 1 car and 2 people inside, so we were skeptical. But we read a very glowing review from a month ago and decided to give it a shot. What a delight! Our server was excellent! Attentive but not intrusive. The food was a treat for our tastebuds! Everything was fresh and piping hot and arrived in a very timely fashion. The prices were very good, as well. The establishment was incredibly clean, the decor very inviting. You will be so glad you’ve enjoyed a meal here. If we lived closer, it would be a regular spot for us.

We decided on a whim to try Palermo’s not long after they opened. It is FANTASTIC. We’ve gone back a few times (we don’t live in town) and have NOT been disappointed. The outside is not much to look at but don’t let that deter you. These people can cook Italian!

Our church held our Christmas party at Palermo’s. The food and service was wonderful. Our group ordered a variety of different meals, and most of us cleaned our plates. Those that didn’t finish were happy to take the leftovers home for another meal.

The tour of Italy, consisting of chicken parmesan, fettuccine alfredo, and lasagna, tasted as it came from frozen and microwaved. Some parts of the lasagna were cold and the bread was nothing special. On the bright side, service was fast. The food was mediocre overall and would not return again.

This is a surprisingly good Italian eatery in Emporia. The service is good and professional without being intrusive. I would definitely recommend sharing an entree because the portions are substantial. The ambience leaves a little to be desired but the food makes it worth while. They have a more than adequate wine list.
