We ordered a cheese pizza and the chicken parmagiana dinner – that came with a salad and garlic bread. The garlic bread had sauce on it, which I thought was a little odd, but it was ok. The same sauce (I think) was on the spaghetti that came with the chicken parm, the pizza and the garlic bread. It was too sweet – honestly the spaghetti tasted like chef-boy-ardee (?) canned sauce. We couldn’t really eat it. The pizza was better, the cheese and crust were good, but again I wasn’t crazy about the sauce.

It is a casual restaurant. Our waitress, Becky, is one of the best waitresses that have served us for a while. Becky paid attention to our needs, suggested options, smiled a lot, seemed like was having fun, constantly was cleaning the table and made our night special.
The taste of all the food was good. It does not have the same Italian taste as genuine pizza or pasta but to be an American Italian restaurant, it was good.
The portions of the food was super decent, one plate can serve two people.
I would definitely come back again.

We moved to New Holland about 3 years ago. Did a little tour of all the pizza places (there are a abundance of them in New Holland) and we keep coming back to Palermo. All in the area are good, but Palermo is our favorite! We are from NJ, so good italian food is a important thing to us. From pizza and calzone, to the entrée dinners, we have not been disappointed! Frank and his family/staff do a excellent job, and care about you as a customer!

One example of this is they had made a mistake on a take out order of ours once. We called in and spoke with Frank who apologized profusely and offered to send his delivery driver out to bring the right food (at no charge). That meant a lot to us! Give them a try for yourselves, I don’t think you will be disappointed!

I come here almost once a month on a Friday night. Staff is super friendly, portions are large you will not feel like you spent too much and they will try their best to accommodate you if you show up almost at closing time. This restaurant also offers a great selection of beer for any legal age adult with a valid driver’s license or ID

We were here on a Monday night, it wasn’t full at all, and the place was pretty quiet. The food was delicious! We had a 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 Supreme pizza and the Supreme is “loaded” and they have great hot wings too.

The pizza here is good and cheap. Also large servings for food. The waitress is fast and courteous, food always comes out hot.

They have the best bread for their subs that I’ve found in the New Holland/Leola/Brownstown area. $10.06 for a Large Italian ain’t bad either. It’s enough to split between two people.

Great service in a small town. Large portions that will more than fill you up. They ate proud of their creations and it shows. Highly recommend.

A traditional awesome pizza parlor with fantastic pizza that oozes cheese in every bite. A staff that is friendly and knows their patrons by name. Prices are very reasonable and the menu is big. Go visit them and definitely try the anchovies – LOL

Most ridiculous experience I have ever had ordering from a restaurant. My husband ordered a basic pizza with extra cheese, bacon and garlic. We added a side of fries and mozzarella sticks. Not only were they 20 minutes late With the pizza, upon arriving home, we noticed that someone had put literal tablespoons of garlic all over our pizza. When someone orders the garlic, I don’t believe that they are hoping to get tablespoons of garlic in their mouth every time they take a bite of pizza. It was gross… not even edible…. In addition, our mozzarella sticks were not cooked and the french fries were cold the most basic things that a pizza shop should be able to make. because we had four children and didn’t have time to deal with it, my husband decided to start making macaroni and cheese. We called the pizza shop and told them what had happened instead of them apologizing and offering a refund, They begin arguing and insinuating that we were trying to rip them off and that we must return the unused food in order to get a refund. I told them that I had children and that it was ridiculous for them to expect me to drive all the way back when I’m trying to take care of kids and they already inconvenienced us by making horrible food , needless to say I actually did put two children and one of them a baby and drove to the pizza place which was 10 minutes away. I asked them upon arrival to please come out and get the pizza because I had a baby in the car and I couldn’t come inside. Even though they told me to bring the pizza back, they refuse to come out and get the pizza so I had to quickly exit the car and left the pizza inside with one of the waitresses And ran back out so I could be with my baby who didn’t want in the car. I called back and asked for them to refund our card now that they had the unused food. they refused to refund and the owner got on the phone and started screaming at me And told me he was gonna call the police on me. He also accused me of being somebody who causes problems in his shop all the time except we never order food from there so he must be confusing me with somebody else. It’s very obvious that they have problems with numerous customers , we live over in East Earl and normally go elsewhere but because they were closed on Monday we decided to try this place . My family and friends order from Palermo but I’m sure after the story gets out people will think twice. No one wants to have the police called on them for someone messing up their order or a restaurant owner not taking responsibility for their mistakes. We can easily dispute this on the credit card, which will be happening. I was just trying to show them and honor their request to return the pizza which I didn’t need to do. Literal mouthfuls of garlic all over our pizza. Disgusting gross food. Never again.

No wait to seat. Food was plentiful & good. Becky was our waitress & she was very friendly & on top of things. You will take leftovers home unless you’re really hungry . The fettuccine alfredo with chicken was excellent. Nice salad & like a loaf of homemade warm bread came with the meal. Everyone there was very friendly like you’re there everyday. Great place.
